So glad we have such a great place in the neighborhood. I am falling fast in the espresso rabbit hole and was looking for a great local coffee roaster. Stopped by the Sound Coffees' Bridgeport store on a Sunday morning to be welcomed by smiley faces. Had a long conversation with Jeff - btw, hard to find a nicer guy... You can tell the passion, knowledge and that this is a work of love. Right where I wanted to be! Got a tour of the place, with detailed explanations of the coffee varieties being roasted, all the hows and whys answered. I like single origin, highly aromatic, fruity, chocolate tasting beans. Ethiopia, Kenya and the likes. Have my eyes on a few of their offerings and cannot wait to try them! But the Green Room Espresso Blend checked all the boxes in my book, so went for it. Also got to stand next to Karen to get my espresso shot. A very nice lady and coffee lover at heart! Will keep going back, hopefully for a long time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I love this coffee roaster! Coffee is wonderfully delicious. I had a house brew (my way to tell if a shop is serious about their coffee!) and my husband has a cappuccino. Both were great! We brought home East Java and Park City Blend. Recommended by the staff. We love them, too. Such a hidden gem! Genuinely kind and friendly neighborhood coffee roaster. Love their participation in the community, charitable causes, and dedication to serving amazing coffee! They have generous hours to stop by and dine in, or order coffee for pickup or delivery through their website. Great selection of coffees at very good prices. Excellent quality. I've tried four different flavors and loved them all, a little something for everyone. I'm hooked! I received my order and was instantly impressed with the level of care put into the packing, just opening the box confirms you ordered a great brand that cares about the coffee and its customers. Having ordered from so many other brands its instantly apparent they're different. I'll be a lifelong Sound Coffee subscriber, there's no doubt.
