The salsa is fresh and made in house, accompanied by bean dip and warm chips. Excellent margaritas! Try the original made fresh squeezed. Good food, great family atmosphere, good service. The perfect neighborhood place that makes you glad tonight was Mexican night! Have tried several dishes and loved them all. On combo platers you can choose the meat and for chili rellenos crunchy or soft,( either one is oh so good!) Also don't miss the dessert options!!! The flan is fabulous, and easily shareable. Upon entering the restaurant, it felt like a happy place. Our company was our happy time. The salsa was amazing! I had the langostinos. The six entire creatures were deep fried piled on top of some highly seasoned and salty mushroom slices. The meat inside was tough and tough to extract from the exoskeleton. The rest of the body parts crumbled into my edible food making it difficult to eat. The rice was dry. The salad with Romain Lettuce and fixings were good! There was a little dish that held what looked like green juices from some kind of peppers. It was very good! I poured that all over my entire plate since there wasn't any dressing and my other food was dry. A discard place for all of the bugs parts would have been thoughtful. The waitress was nice but didn't bring some things we asked for, ie. extra napkins, and limes, and then told us she was too busy. My hot water and lemon was brought in a tall plastic glass. I asked them to put sliced jalapenos in my watermelon margarita and oh yes, was that good! I hope they take the langostinos off the menu or do something different with them! The service was terrible. The waitress did not return to our table once and we had to search for someone to help us when we needed another napkin, refill on our drinks etc...... When it came time to check out the waitress refused to split the bill. She was rude and confrontational almost like she was looking for a argument. The food was ok but nothing great.
