First time eating at Snuffers, I was very happy with the service, the atmosphere and most importantly the food. My server was very attentive, she took my drink order and my appetizer. I had the cheddar fries with bacon. Very good choice, I placed my order of chicken fried chicken with a house salad and mashed potatoes. The food was very good, not salty, not over cooked. Snuffer's has good burgers. Unfortunately they are not the place to go if you are on a time limit for lunch. They do not get in a hurry to cook anything or bring anything to your table. Amazing service and food. Visited after being discharged from the hospital when I had my son. The server was super friendly. He mentioned his wife had a baby a month ago as well and congratulated me and my son's father on the baby's arrival. The food came out fast and tasted delicious 😋. The worst food I have ever put in my mouth. I am not a picky man when food is involved. I usually finish my plate even if im not 100% satisfied or, even in a few cases, 50% satisfied. I even finish my wife's when she is finished or isn't satisfied with the way hers turned out. She ordered a salad with grilled chicken on top. The chicken was raw in the middle and couldn't be eaten. I decided on the chicken fried steak because I wasn't feeling a burger and hadn't had one in a while. It came out and looked delicious. After cutting off the first bite and chewing on it, I didn't really like the taste but was going to try to eat it anyway. After cutting another chunk out, I realized that I still haven't even gotten to the steak. The breading was so thick and chewy that there was just a little pocket in the middle where the steak about the size of a 1/4 lb patty was just loosely sitting. I dumped it out of this so-called breading and thought well I can just eat the meat part. Now I absolutely love beef and will not leave any behind whatsoever. If I am getting full, I will leave everything else but will finish beef. I ate 2 bites of this steak trying to force it down and absolutely couldn't do it. One of my sons ordered chicken strips, so I tried 1 of those. The breading didn't have a good flavor at all, and the chicken was tough, so it couldn't be eaten. My other son ordered a burger. He tried to eat half of it, which is about all he usually eats, but he couldn't. I tried to eat just the patty from the other half, like I would normally do, and the flavor was awful, burned on the outside, and middle was tough. There were several other things that were awful about the experience, but I will just stop with this. I have had not so good experiences before, but I am not the type to just go on social media and report bad things because I am a positive person. I have never reported negative experiences I've had, I even give some not so good experience places a second chance. Sometimes, it turns out good, or if not, I just don't go anymore. This experience was just so bad all the way around that I thought it should be shared. I will give something positive. The mashed potatoes and the side salad I had were decent, and I ate them. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wasn't impressed this time. I love Snuffers and usually is so good, but something was off tonight. The waiter was nice and the food was hot, but I just didn't like the onion rings. The steak fingers were great! While the waiter was nice, he didn't seem like he wanted to be there.. no refills on drinks or checking on us. Just the atmosphere was off tonight. Noone seemed to want to be there. First time at the Greenville location. Ordered our usual, snuferrita, hamburger with cheddar cheese and a large order of cheddar fries. We were very disappointed in the cheese fries. The cheese was not melty and gooey like it normally is and it was just clumped on top of the cheese fries. Burger and drink were good as usual. You sit yourself. I was a bit bummed with trying this place. The patty meat had NO FLAVOR what so ever and was dry. Customer service lacks! Our waiter hardly ever checked on us, she seamed all over place lost. We always had to ask another waiter for something, and it was not a busy evening. Brownie dessert was not good almost as if it store bought cheep quality. Only thing good was their nachos and pickle chips. Wouldn’t come back. My fiance, my son, and I went for a family night out and the food was good but the service was ok. I ordered a Dr.Pepper and was given a glass of water. We asked another server for the Dr pepper and didn't get it. Then we found our regular waiter and finally got the Dr pepper. We got the nachos as an appetizer. I got the avocado bacon burger, Jason got the classic burger and my fiance got the triple club sandwich. Everything was hot and fresh. Jason got a brownie with ice cream to take home. I took a bite and it was amazing! The service was great and so was the food. I was in a little rush so I had to pick up the food. I walked in and was greeted immediately and was told the food was ready and they were about to bring it out. Within 3 minutes, I was waking back out into my car with the young lady in tow helping to carry the food into the car. Service is not consistent. The wait was to long for two burgers. The mushrooms were not cooked all the way and very oily. The burgers were okay but the bread was a little too toasted and they were not hot.
