What a nice spot!
This is just around the corner from our Fam.
It was Burger Day and I had the Green Chili Cheese Burger with a small side of Mac’N’Cheese.
The burger was handmade and well seasoned; not a smash burger and that’s just fine.
The Mac was def cheesy and it was very well-seasoned; and very yummay. The pasta was not mac but shells (some ppl are food snobs).
I will definitely go back to try their BBQ.

One of the best bbq spots I’ve been to!!! First bite of ribs blew me away! Brisket and Turkey were expertly crafted with just the right amount of smoke flavor and seasoning. Go check out Smoak Town for the food and stay for the excellent customer service! These guy love what they’re doing and it shows!

Creamy Corn
This is worth driving to Fate Texas! The secret is out! Real wood smoked and cooked meats to perfection! Brisket is favorable and tender, like it's supposed to be! Smoked to perfection, juicy, flavor is from the cooking and not a lot of extra stuff to make it taste good! We had the brisket cheese sandwich, the brisket Quesadillas, mac and cheese, and pinto beans. ALL COOKED TO PERFECTION. I'm not a big fan of spicy pinto beans, but I could hang with them. The Mac and cheese were cheesy and tasty...we couldn't eat enough of it! The portions are large, so bring a healthy appetite. The price is reasonable, and the truth is I expected to pay more. Overall, this was a great surprise, and I will return to try everything on their menu. They are not fast, they are right on time! SO sit back and enjoy the time it take to prepare you for a delightful meal and experience. The service is so very charming and with big smiles all around. Can't wait to return! A Texas "hats off" to this lone star jewel!!!😋😋😋😋😋

Went to Smoaktown BBQ with a friend in Fate, Tx. Cameron the owner was super friendly, the BBQ was amazing, and the sides were great. This place is easily Top 5 in the DFW Metroplex. Definitely worth checking out.
The Green Chile Double Smashburger was amazing as well!!

I consider myself a BBQ snob…and this place is LEGIT!
I drove out all the way from Dallas to try their burger…but they had just sold out!
I was moping and sulking my way back to the car, when the owner stopped me and said he had one last burger, but they were photographing it for a magazine article and if I could wait, he’d let me have it.
What an amazing gesture…he didn’t have to do that.
His kindness made the burger taste even better!

So I've been wanting to come out and try their brisket burger which they only serve during lunch on Wednesdays. I was finally able to make it out after drooling over their Facebook posts for the past 6 months.
10/10 worth the 20 minutes drive. I got the "Double Up" which I believe is two 1/4" smoked brisket burger patties on a potato bun (maybe?) with cheese and BBQ sauce. I opted into the green chilies too.
This was such an amazing burger and definitely lived up to the hype. The burger patties are definitely the star of the show here. They had a bunch of crispy edges which give it that nice texture and the smoke flavor shines through. The rest of the toppings just put the burger over the top.
It's probably just my preference but I could have used just a touch more salt and green chilies but that doesn't take away of how blown away I was while eating it.
I'll be back to try more things in the future!

BBQ Beef Brisket Burger
Recommended to us from a town away. It's a food truck on a lot, with several others. Man it was good! We had brisket, ribs, and burnt ends. Little area in the center, with picnic tables for sitting. I would go here all the time, if I was local. Awesome 1000 gallon offset smoker going while we were there.

What a cool spot out in Fate - right off of 30, it's in the heart of downtown in a cool little truck yard. The food is WORTH the trip!
The Pork Belly Burnt Ends are amazing! The Pork Ribs are in my top 5 of all time... Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage is great, Banana Pudding is perfect after a lot of meat, Brisket is TENDER, and the Smoked Turkey is the BEST I've had (which means you actually WANT to order it!). Talked with the owner and his dad during and after and just wish I had something like this down my block - if you live anywhere near Fate (just outside of Rockwall), hell, even if you dont, make the stop!

Smoked Brisket Patty
Outside dining fun for the family. Must try! Flavorful sides and BBQ. Worth the drive. Brisket was awesome and ribs were cook to perfection. We will go back for sure. You have to try the bacon wrapped blueberry cream cheese jalapenos! Unexpected tasty treat!
