Smart supermarket Malta always offers out of date products, and price labels on the shelves are always lower than the real price, so be careful all the time. If you complain, Smart Supermarket Malta staff is rude and ignores you. In my opinion, Smart supermarket Malta has the worst customer service in Europe, so avoid Smart supermarket Malta at all.

Its my favorite supermarket. BUT you need to ba creful about prices. The price per kilo is most of the time lower that it actualy is, so its a scam. Also ml/gr you have to check. Also exparation dates. And prices might be one on the shelf label but on cash register other. So you need to check!

I do most of my shopping at Smart because they stock a lot of the things l like the staff are great and very helpful and you can also get free delivery to your home l go once a month do a big shop and it is delivered by a very nice and helpful assistant

I lived in Malta for quite a few months and bought my groceries there because of free delivery service and lack of competitors. It had a great range of different products, mainly British but also some of them local an even from other countries of Europe. Groceries were not always fresh. And the general impression was always of "disorder".Very often they could run out of stock on a product and not offering it back for many many many days.

Big variety in products. Good butcher and cheese counter. Good fruit and veg selection, albeit a bit small. I find myself regularly getting lost in the supermarket, even after shopping here for a few years. Perhaps better signage is required?

I hate supermarkets, and other shops. Therefore I order online. Well, don't try this one. When you have a question (email or messenger) you will not get a reply. How often you try, nothing. Don't hold your breath. There are other supermarktes on Malta with a very good service.

Smart Supermarket , B'kara. Been going for many years, seen it growing !! Always found nice friendly staff and a big rang of products, In fact I buy some products from them to do my foodie videos ..I am Englishman In Malta and have a channel on YouTube, Eeating Cooking, & Adventures

The biggest store on the main island, you will find anything here. Staff is kind, the security guy even showed me around when I was lost. Prices are way better than back in Hungary. A bit more than Lidl but the point system and bottle vouchers offset it in the favour of Smart. Every € you spend after registering at customer care that takes 5 minutes(no card just account number😀) you can collect 30 for a free 6pack of water. I no longer buy water anywhere. Others do this for their entire households with carts full off plastic bottles queueing near the machines that take glass and plastic. The products are fresh and there is a section for everything, you name it. Fish✅ Dairy✅ Pasta section✅, ect ect... Recommended it for anything more than a few items as the store is so massive that a few items take longer to gather than to check out.
