My wife and I truly enjoyed our time in Wallace! We especially enjoyed the silver mine tour! Our driver was spectacular and the miner who took us into the mine was born to mine! He is a great man and an excellent fit as a guide! We thank you all!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Such a fun to inside the old mine. So much history of the mine and Wallace Idaho. We will bring more family back to experience it!
Tours run often enough there is little wait. A lot of interesting stuff at the store/tour depot! Trolley ride was fun & informative. Mine tour was great! Lee was good clean fun, full of knowledge & experience. He gave 2 book suggestions that I made note of & plan to check out. Fabulous way to spend a little over an hour!
The tour of the mine which was wonderful and the guide a former miner Fast Freddie was very knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining was outstanding. I would give this place 5 stars however, the driver for the tour was indifferent to the female military members on the tour. He started out asking were there any military or vets on board. Those that were, raised their hands including myself and a fellow female military vet. He acknowledged the male vets by speaking to them directly but never acknowledged the female vets. It was evident he focused on the male vets by engaging them during the drive to the mine and back. If you are going to ask the question be courteous enough to acknowledge all members of the military or do not ask the question in the first place. The driver mentioned Wyatt Earp during his talk. As we were dropped off, I tried to engage with the driver to let him know that my ancestrial family had ties with Wyatt Earp he basically brushed me off. My friend had the same feeling during the drive. I then left and now my review speaks for itself. Without saying the word sexist I think I am getting my point across.

This is so worth it! Lee was our tour guide, what an amazing man, full of knowledge. The Trolley driver...I will call him "Wally", retired Navy-great bantering with the guests and a bonus of some history of Wallace. (I am not sharing many pictures....this is so you will go check it out for yourself.)

First-hand narration by a tour guide recounting his silver mining work experience leads to a memorable, informative experience walking through a silver mine, with additional narration on the ride to and from the mine tunnel on a trolley where you can learn about the interesting city of Wallace, Idaho.

Loved this tour, great way to learn about the town. Dog friendly & they were very sweet with my senior pup. Tours offered every 30 mins. Pro tip: stop in at the 6th & Cedar before / after your tour which is also dog friendly! Street parking.

One of our favorite stops on our trip! Well worth going!! All the tour guides are retired miners, who really know what they're talking about. Our kids loved (Lenny) our guide's humor! We were also very impressed with the trolley driver and the lady who checked us in at the beginning of the tour! She really helped us out!

This was one of the coolest tours! I had no expectations really, but it was absolutely fascinating! The tour guides were personable, knowledgeable and we felt so comfortable. We learned a lot and my son even got to use some of the machinery underground. He was thrilled! It’s cold, so bring a sweatshirt. But even if you don’t have one, they will lend you one. We can’t wait to go back again.
