We found the place by casualty when looking for a quick bite. We told the restaurant we were in a hurry and they served as very quick: mussels and calamari with 2 beers. It was nice! Then we decided to come for dinner. The restaurant was almost full and we didnt reserve but they made an effort to give us a table and we had the specials: tuna tartar, spaguetti with lobster and spaguetti with sea food. It was a lovely dinner with a nice wine. The co-owner David served us professionally and fast. We would definitely come back if possible next time! Thanks so much! Price is a bit on the high side, however the food is good quality, so worth the extra credit. Bear in mind, that they specialize in seafood, so if you crave a burger or pizza, you might want to look elsewhere. Regarding the seafood, even though the menu doesn't mention it, you can get the seafood pasta with white wine and no tomato sauce, which I personally prefer. Calamari fritti was also cooked just right. They provided bruschetta as well as courtesy. All in all, good experience, definitely recommended. We found this place by chance and were very pleasantly surprised. The waiter recommended me a very nice vegan dish, my husband was content with his tuna spaghetti. The place is very nice, not crowded, the atmosphere is refreshing and vibrant as it's located right in the harbour in Mgarr. The terrace is ventilated by fans and alongside with sea breeze it creates very lovely cool space to sit down and relax. By the marina, you can find the restaurant Sicilia Bella. Quiet place, not too crowded. Probably the best Pasta alle Vongole I've ever had. So tasty and creamy they were delicious. The pros : quick service, freshly prepared dishes, located on the port but in a side street. Nice staff very accommodating with our late arrival. The cons : taste of most dishes was not as good as expected (compared to other Sicilian restaurants in Malta). Layout of the restaurant is quite basic. Great place to dine in. The location creates great quiet atmosphere surrounded by the pleasant views of the port. Prices are reasonable as well as the portions offered. We were both very happy with our choices. The lamb chop was tender and flaking with each bite and comprised perfectly with the rich sauce Service was very helpful yet not overly attentive. A 5 star restaurant. Had linguine with lobster which were to die for and wife had pasta with king prawns that had a fabulous sauce. After the fish was excellent...a real typical Sicilian Gozitan fish restaurant. A word if praise for their service. Always with a smile
