I don't usually shop here, but I received a gift card and decided to make the trip. They didn't have everything I was looking for but I was able to make a purchase in the end. The store was quite busy. The cashier that rang me up was polite and so was the cashiers helper.

Be very careful metal tins I bought there are all leaking Very bad can start a fire in your oven. May be a factory defect.

Guys, if you're in the Danbury area shopping around for the most least expensive and best grocery store in the Danbury area, the Shoprite in Danbury is your best bet. I go there all the time but was finally compelled to write a review after seeing the staff work their butt's off right at open (they open at 7). When you examine their prices and selection, plus the amazing staff, you will learn easily that this is the best grocery store in the Danbury CT area. This I'm sure is a product of the management team here, and I hope the ownership realizes how great all the staff here is.

This is THE CLEANEST grocery store I have ever been to. The staff I spoke with were professional and very knowledgeable about the store and it's contents. Large store with lots of variety. I think I found my new grocery store.

Wide selection, attractively displayed and fairly priced (some items more than others). Spacious aisles and friendly staff. Check out by cashier or self check-out, which is preferable. Throughout the store are price scanners. Clean bathroom and ample parking in the lot outside. Wi-fi of decent strength and speed.

Well organized and attractive exhibition of merchandise. Extensive selection, and half the place’s been Mexicanized, of course. Clean bathroom, but the section for beer has these annoying covers on it which prevent me from picking up two cases at a time! Throughout the store there are free wi-fi and price scanners. Ample parking in the lot out front. Staff competent, though self check-out is the way to go…
