Great beer, cute spot! I appreciated that they had board games and an overall chill vibe on a Thursday night. We enjoyed a snack as well and overall enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service.

I loved this place! Great brewery, right on the water. Stopped by for the first time while visiting the area. We stumbled upon a lecture in progress on SC soils. There was a nice community turn out. Everyone enjoying themselves and listening to the lecture. We tried the Coco Porter and Aria Lager Red Amber. Both great drafts! We ordered dinner from the permanent food truck that is based there. You don't have to go outside to a food truck to order. You order dinner where they pour the drafts, you get a number, and then they bring the food to your table. The food was excellent! Check out the menu, you won't be disappointed. All the folks working there were so friendly and happy to answer any questions about the different beers. The large room where you drink and eat is casual and you sit at shared long tables, although there are few smaller four top tables and outdoor picnic tables. Shellring had a comfortable casual vibe, great beer & food, service with a smile and a lecture on soil to boot. Triple Crown! Can't wait to visit again.

Visited on Christmas Eve, and was super impressed. My sour was delicious, and my brother's hazy IPA was very juicy and absolutely refreshing. The view was beautiful (even saw a dolphin) and my dog was also welcome!

Shell Ring knows how to host a party! Our community had our annual Holiday Party at our local brewery this year, and it could not have gone any better. Thanks to Nick and his team, Shell Ring allowed for all of our residents to have an amazing evening. Thank you again!

The beer here is fantastic but the hidden gem is the food! Some of the best in Beaufort County in my humble opinion. Always different and surprising and absolutely excellent. It’s cultural and well versed, sophisticated and unpretentious. Great live music from String Surfers as well. Excellent musicians who know the proper volume for an eatery. Can’t say enough. Go and enjoy!
