Fine for a supermarket. Generally well stocked, bright, clean. Produce and fruit is sometimes lacking. Edit: They have severely reduced their checkout lines after putting in self checkout, so I am reducing my review. Last time I shopped, there were 7 employees standing around and only one lane open.

Glad to see they have sco now makes it a lot faster. However went through last night there was a young girl. Red hair and glasses working sco she was so busy flirting and messing around with this older gentleman. Then when she finally came over to help me she was getting super frustrated and just bringing negativity with her. Once she finished helping me she was back to talking to this older man. Customer service is a priority maybe Shaws should make it one?

Have gotten home multiple times to find products expired weeks ago. Most of the time prepared fruit/meals etc are scarce and expired. If you’re looking for expired food this is your place! So many employees just stand around chit chatting, maybe they should be checking items before they give someone food illness.

Great location! Electric vehicle charging in the front and great parking. Very accessible, right in the center of Wakefield. Wide selection of items. Some of which I can’t find at other stores, namely ethnic foods. Would reccomend!

Good if you need a few things. Almost everything here is overpriced by $1-2 over any other store, so a full trip adds up FAST with extra $$$. No self checkout yet they only ever seem to have one aisle open, but at least they have baggers!
