Clean and Small venue. Great Gumbo. Jambalaya was excellent. Fresh corn bread. Fast service. Pulled pork was tasty. Burnt ends was a bit fatty for me but was tasty as well. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Pulled Pork

Some of the best jambalaya I’ve had. It’s different than what I’m use to, more blackened than tomato forward, but I’d prefer it this way. Highly recommend stopping by. The cornbread was good too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Far to salty. Cooked to perfection, but very salty. It is so odd to tip at these places. I'm standing at the counter placing my order. I'm handed my drink glass, paper plate and plastic ware... I'd be fine to Split the tip since I'm doing half the server's job. I had to punch in "10%". Choices were 15% - upto 25%... at a point in the process where I have no idea if the service will be good. Portions were good, and we enjoyed the side dishes. If a 10% tip was a standard choice, I would have been happier. What a great break from the road! Blocks away from Rt. 66, as loyal foodies, we had to stop to get some real food in this wonderful relaxing Jazz establishment that serves up Cajun classics! Think our pics say it all! Pure satisfying classic flavors! BBQ ribs were smoked to perfection. Will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Gumbo and Jambalaya were the best I've ever had. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area. Service was really good as well. We showed up as they were about to close, but they were still really friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The ribs were falling off the bone. The sauce was tangy and had just the right amount of heat. Definitely would get the cornbread every time. I would like to see more variety for sauces, maybe a vinegar base sauce. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Recommended dishes Mac N' Cheese

Best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Excellent food, people & atmosphere. I got the jambalaya and a po boy. Nice way to end the day after visiting the Grand Canyon. Everything my party got was great! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We stopped here on our vacation headed west. I can’t say enough good things about the service and food. We had a little bit of everything. I strongly suggest the Jambalaya.. it was my favorite. That with some fresh made lemonade and you will be fat and sassy in no time. Great place run by some even better people. A must go! On our way back to Phoenix from camping when asked what kind of food we should get my husband replied “good food” so I came across this hidden gem. We are so happy we stopped. We tried a lot of items but by far the Mac&Cheese and ribs were our favorite. The Mac was incredibly cheesy with just a little crunch on top. The ribs were fall-off the bone had so much flavor without needing additional BBQ sauce. Brisket was tender and the beans were bomb! A hole in the wall interior wise so don’t expect too much. Also really friendly and accommodating staff to boot! We will definitely be back!! Added bonus to those RV’rs there is a large parking lot across the street for a big camper! The atmosphere is quaint and low light jazz feel to it! We were attended to quickly and promptly. The workers were friendly and down to earth with a chill vibe. They were quick and very courteous with filling our order. The food was beyond good! The spices to the food had a little kick but definitely just made the food better than it already was. We are from out of state and absolutely recommend this food place! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beef Brisket Sandwich
