We were up in the area and decided to try this place out and we were not disappointed. Head sushi chef David was wonderful company and was very accommodating and made me a longstanding favorite, my Toro Boat, and it was a much welcomed treat. We had miso ramen, the Pink Lady, the Sushi Burrito (highly recommend), veggie tempura, and a classic spicy tuna roll. Everything was fresh, delicious, very well portioned, and the presentation was what you would expect at a great Japanese joint. We will definitely be back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
So Fresh and Yummy! We stopped by to get a snack. That quickly turned into a full on meal. There are so many rolls and other food to choose from. The sushi chef was really nice and chatted with us for a while. Service was great and food was even better! We will definitely be back again soon to try more food. I'm especially excited to try the ramen. There are about four different types. There are zero other ramen places in the area. I'm sure it'll be just as good judging by the sushi.
Hands down the best sushi and service I have had in longer than I can remember! Super friendly staff, amazingly fresh food and great service. Just ask the chef what is fresh and he will take care of you and keep you laughing the whole time. They don’t treat you like a customer they treat you like a guest. My boyfriend and I have cheated on them a time or two and every time we regret it. It’s a family owned small business with a staff that really works well together. I hate to give up my best kept secret but they deserve all the business! Oh and the prices are great for the quality! I ordered online and they canceled my order as I was on the way there. Refused to make it right when they money was still out of my account and I didn't have money to buy the sushi AGAIN. ive eaten here several times, the food is great, just don't order online or you will be out all of the money you spent because they will gaslight you to try and make it your fault. Thanks for ruining my valentine's day ❤️🖕 Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Service: 1

We ordered $80 worth of food and drink and the bill came out to over $100! No itemization (sneaky) and we were in a hurry, so I just paid it. Reading the reviews, I'm guessing the tip was built in. The sashimi portion was skimp. Quality of fish was mediocre, salmon was slimy, escolar made my throat itchy and tongue numb. Sad to say we won't be back. Update: Sansui just opened back up 7/15/21 after being closed for 1-1/2 years due to Covid. Chef David is back and ready to serve. The New menu just came out. The rest still applies. Stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. They always give you a nice greeting. They are friendly and answered all my questions. Clean with great family friendly service. I notice a lot of regular customers keep coming back. I highly recommend you try it.

I called in an order of miso ramen, vegetable tempura, and edamame. On the restaurant's Google menu, it said the miso ramen had chashu (pork) so I asked what it was and learned it was meat, which I dont eat, so I told them I didnt want it because of that and they said it doesnt come with it, so it would be fine. I knew I'd arrive close to 2:30 (the time they close before they reopen again later) and made sure it was okay for me to get the order and they confirmed. When I got there, the staff were all hanging out in the main dining room waiting for me to pick it up (I made it with 10 minutes to spare). The lady rang me up and read out my order, which I also read out to confirm, and the chef starts to look confused at the lady, talking to her in japanese. I kept hearing him say tonkatsu and miso, but I didnt understand what else he said, so I just thought it was them saying they ended up putting the chashu on the side like how i was saying it when i initially asked what the chashu was. The lady shooed him off and had me pay for the meal. Found out when I got home that they gave me tonkatsu ramen and they put shrimp tempura in my vegetable tempura. Luckily I noticed both before I ate and pulled them out, but it sucks that she decided that it was better to trick me into getting the wrong ramen instead of trying to correct it or not charge me for it. Giving it 2 stars because at least they allowed me to get the food so close to closing time and they technically didnt leave any items out (gave me ramen, tempura, and edamame). Also idk if it's the my aversion to meat or the ramen itself, but it wasnt that good. Edit: After reading some of the other low reviews, I realized they didnt give me the check at the end (i noticed that while i was there but since i was there at their closing, i didnt wanna trouble them anymore). I wonder if i was charged that gratuity charge like the other people are talking about. Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Located in a small stripe mall off the 15 fwy. Plenty of parking available. Came on a Saturday evening amd was nicely greated by the work staff. We were seated promptly and our drink orderd taken. The restraunt had a few televisions with MLB games playing. It was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The menu had a good selection of appetizers, noodles, entrees and sushi. We noticed the rolls were broken down by price. Rolls had good descriptions of what ingredients were inside and out. Felt the menu items were alittle on the high side but the food came out quickly and tasted very good. Waitress checked on us often and kept our drinks full. I would definitely recommend this little sushi restaurant to anyone looking for tasty sushi! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
This has to be one of my top favorite sushi place I have ever been too! The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. One of the most nicest person who works there Tammy was very attentive at our table. She made sure we were good and pleased with our food. She deserves a raise!!
