I love this place. San Francisco Sourdough makes a great sandwich! The breakfast sandwiches are super affordable, like $4/half less than $6 for a full and real breakfast sandwiches like you would make at home. The lunch sandwiches are definitely top tier- beat the socks off the chain sandwich shops and also affordable but still loaded with toppings. Try this out if you haven’t yet. There’s 2 or 3 locations the one on Lancaster is good but for some reason the one in Rathdrum inside the gas station is just a little better in my opinion Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Staff are nice but the soups are diluted and runny most of the time I go in there. The clam chowder is amazing when it’s freshly made, but if you go back the next day it’s obviously been watered down to last longer. It’s gross. They do it with other soups too. If they would just leave them alone, I would give a much better review. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I love their fresh bread. I didn't try their Broccoli cheddar soup - it is vegetarian. Next time. I had a veggie sandwich. I was surprised that it had a thin slice of carrot. That added just the right touch. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Sandwich

I love this SF chain but the hours are all over the place. Everything online says they are open on Sundays but their phone message says they are not. I can’t tell when they actually close on which days either. Otherwise, good food! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

We waited over an hour in the drive thru line for our order. I know it's not "fast food" but....! They prioritize the lobby and call in orders before ours in the drive thru. They only had 2 people working the store with 40+ orders. Management needs to have more people staffed on a Sunday afternoon. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10

The worst SFSE experience I have ever had. Our food took 30 mins to come out. There were 3 kids working, and there was no organization. One of the workers named Aiden (overheard others call his name) wiped his face and moved his hair out of his face 4 Times in about 30 seconds. I had to ask him to wash his hands because I couldn’t stand the thought of eating my food with his face germs all over it. The poor gal that was working told him he can no touch his face again. She was really trying. But why is that kid not wearing a hair net if his hair is that uncontrollably in his face. Nasty. The lobby was disgusting. I know staffing is an issue but at least train the ones you do have with some professionalism, even if it’s just for a sandwich shop. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I don’t know what happened but this place used to be so good. The sandwiches used to be loaded with meat and toppings and now you’re lucky if you even get enough so you don’t taste just the bread. The older women do an amazing job but when it’s the teenagers, the sandwiches are NOT worth the money. I ordered a garlic pesto sandwich with Dijon and they put regular mustard. I ordered no onions. Onions were on my sandwich. I got a combo and they didn’t ask what drink I wanted and I had to remind them about it. The sandwich was way smaller than a half usually is and they forgot the pickle and fork. Very disappointed

There are times when the teenagers making the sandwich are a bit slow and don't really know how to make a Ruben 🤣🤣 but it always comes out so good! The ingredients are always phenomenal and it's honestly been my favorite place to get dinner for the past year and a half! Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it!! Ah, San Francisco Sourdough. Where should I start? The employees are so helpful and friendly. They try their best to serve you and they do a lot to make up for any mistake they make. The food is delish and the bread, when straight out of the oven, literally melts in your mouth. My favorite sandwich is the sourdough (#4). It’s always so good. I love how you can decide on what toppings you want on your sandwich. It’s a deli, not a fast food joint, so during the summer it can be a bit tedious. But it’s worth it! Also, taken in consideration that businesses are still short on people I think San Fran is doing a good job keeping up with us. I also have noticed that usually there are only 3 people working there during the day. 3! So I think it’s pretty impressive what they get done. Thank you San Fran for your service!
