This confectionary restaurant offers Indian food. Do not leave without trying perfectly cooked fried fish, curried crab and chicken biryani. To taste good pancakes, kulfi and gulab jamun is a really nice idea. You will appreciate delicious Kir at Samburna. This place is known for great masala chai, mango lassi or coffee. At this place, you can order dishes as a takeaway. The appealing staff reflects the style and character of this spot. From the guests' point of view, prices are average. It's usually good to experience something new and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. Google users who visited this confectionary restaurant state that the most suitable rating is 4.2.

Service was very good. The vadas (savory Indian donuts- must try!) were hot & crispy on the outside, soft inside and absolutely perfect! The mysore masala dosa (rice crepe) was a softer variety of dosa - mentioning this because some people prefer their dosa to be very crispy. I liked the softer version too. Mega Dosa!! We had to move to a bigger table to eat it. The butter chicken was awesome! Right when you're seated bottled water is already out for you! All the staff were super sweet, welcoming and fun to chat with. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the price was super fair out the door for $57 for mega dosa (could feed four) , medhu vadai, butter chicken (included rice), lime drink (sweet and sour which was delicious like home made natural sparkling Gatorade), and a Coke. It is a smaller restaurant so I assume it can get loud but we went on a Sunday night and there was only one or two other patrons. We did over hear an issue that someone had with a delivery but from what we gathered it seemed pretty silly "we don't sell or make pizza so If you got a pizza it wasn't from us" seems like a couple of the negative posts are issues with grub hub or Uber eats... We'll definitely be back and we're bringing friends. Great excuse to get out of Seattle and get some great food at fair prices. Images and video of mega dosa and butter chicken attached. This place is my husband and I’s favorite places to eat! We’ve come here countless of times and we’re never disappointed. We usually order the mega dosa, butter chicken, and paneer butter masala and I promise you the flavors will blow your mind! On top of that, their service is a 10/10! We will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you for such an amazing experience! ♥️ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We tried Samburna special dosa which is good but it won't be fitting in there serving plate. We are the last customer of the day so the quality of food reflects as Sambhar was cold as they added water to volume it up and potato filling was also less. I was bit disappointed with the taste. I recommend to visit this restaurant in a morning or daytime. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Went here on a Wednesday, place does get busy after 7.30 but mostly everyone was quickly seated. Got he dosa buffer but was little disappointed. Mint dosa and podi dosa was good but other two weren’t great and masala sabji didn’t have much taste. Baby corn Manchurian was very strong on tomato ketchup taste. Paneer chettinad just has strong tasted of pepper Badam milk was good and so was the Malabar paratha Tables are very cramped up. Totally disappointed by the food we had. We were so excited so visit here as recommended by ours friends but came out disappointed. We ordered podi idly and 2 dosas, while the dosas itself were good, the podi idli was very very bad, as you can see from the image, this just did not look and taste like podi idli, it was like that the podi masala was just touched on to the idli and forgot to put inside, it just tasted like regular idli with slightest task of podi masala so please please don’t order this at all. The Sambhar also lacked salt and in no ways tasted like a regular Sambhar in South Indian restaurant and also the white chutney was very watery…. only good part were the dosas as they itself tasted good and the service was also nice. Living south of Seattle I don't usually make it up north regularly but have always had Samburna on my list of places to try. I'm finally glad that we made the trip to try it out and to itch my South Indian food cravings. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken lollilop, chilli paneer, medu vada and mango lassi. For entrees, we got the Mysore masala Dosa, onion dosa, melugu chicken curry and parotta. Every single dish was good but the dosa and sambar was alright. It could have used more flavor and spice. Surprisingly the parotta was really good! Almost similar to what you get in India. For dinner we got filter coffee and mango kulfi. The kulfi came out still icy and not soft, making it difficult to eat until we waited for it to get to room temperature. Authentic South Indian delicacies!! We got the filter coffee , idlis, iddyappam with coconut milk, prawns masala and the fish curry. The filter coffee was hot and refreshing, the coconut milk was delicious and went well with the iddiappams. The sambhar and chutney with the idlis were fresh All tasted lovely and authentic and had the right amount of spice to it. Will visit this place again. Highly recommended!! Samburna is a really good south indian restaurant in Bothell. I never heard of this place until a friend of ours recommended this place to us. We stopped by Sunday for a late lunch in a group of 8. We were promptly seated and ordered the following items: Appetizers: Paniyaram (amazing tasted super fresh served with a sauce which wasnt great and the sauce could have been better), Medu Vada (the best crispiest medu vadas I have ever had and loved eating it with the chutney and sambar), Mega Ghee Podi Dosa (delicious huge dosa which can easily be shared by 3-4 folks), Chicken 65 (tasty boneless chicken with spices kinda like chicken popcorns), Chemeen Fry (shrimp in a spicy dry sauce. This was delicious and the shrimp was cooked to perfection and the spices complimented the shrimp very well) & Chicken Chukka (this dish lacked seasoning and would have tasted 10 times better if it had a little more salt. This was a common feedback from all of us who had this dish. The spices were great but lack of salt sadly did not bring out all the flavors) Main Course: Melagu Kozhi Curry (chicken curry with amazing spices - pepper and red chilli), chicken chettinad & samburna goat curry. All the 3 meat curries were delicious, well seasoned, tasted amazing and the meat was cooked to perfection. I really liked the goat curry but seemed liked we got only 2-3 small pieces of meat while the rest was all bones. The chicken curries did have a good amount of chicken though. We devoured the curries with malabar parota (very fresh and tasty) and some steamed rice (served complimentary with the curries). The vegetarian folks ordered an eggplant curry (Gutti Vankaya) and paneer butter masala and both curries tasted great. Dessert: Gulad Jamun (fresh and tasty) & Mango kulfi (delicious but a tad too frozen - understandably so). Both the desserts had a rose syrup drizzle over them which was I think not required but thats fine Beverages: Madras Filter Coffee (amazing and one of the best filter coffees I have had for a long time), Majjige (buttermilk was good and tasted fresh) & Lime Soda (this was bad it was just soda and lemon not lime mixed and served with no salt or sugar or any flavors. Will not order this again) While we loved the food here, there were some dishes that could have been better but nevertheless we enjoyed our meal here. Service was okay - one of the servers was really good while the rest did not seem to care much but we got our cood out in a resonably good amount of time. My reasons for reducing a star - some meat curries having barely any meat for the price and lack of seasoning in some dishes and not figuring out how to make a simple basic lime soda apart from the not so great service. The majority of the food items we ordered were a hit though. I would recommend this place if in the area.
