Steak was really really overcooked 😵 Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
I recently had a reservation at Royal on Ridge Restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, the table was ready, but there was a large amount of grease on the ground, which almost caused me to slip. When I brought this to the attention of one of the employees, their response was unprofessional and dismissive. They insisted that I wait for another table to become available. To my surprise, they immediately seated another group at the same table, without addressing the grease issue. It was clear that the staff did not prioritize the cleanliness and safety of the establishment. Once we were finally seated, we waited an unreasonable amount of time without any server approaching our table. I had to actively seek out a server to take our order. Unfortunately, the server named Monique seemed irritated by our request and claimed that we hadn't been waiting for long, despite the significant amount of time that had passed. At that point, we were so frustrated by the lack of service and professionalism that we decided to cash out for the drinks we had received and leave. It was truly disappointing to encounter such a negative experience at a restaurant that I had heard good things about. I strongly believe that Monique should not be serving the general public, as her attitude and lack of customer service skills were evident throughout our interaction. Overall, I cannot recommend Royal on Ridge based on my experience. It is important for establishments to prioritize cleanliness, prompt service, and professional staff in order to provide a positive dining experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit to Royal on Ridge. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Tonight felt like a bait and switch situation. We booked a reservation for Valentine’s Day, and checked out the menu on their website with an expectation of both cost and food types. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by a nice balloon arch and a live singer/guitarist. The rest of the surprises throughout the night were less than pleasant. The restaurant was only offering a set menu with prices that rivaled popular upscale steak houses in the valley ($95 per person for a three course meal). This was not mentioned on the website anywhere. We asked about this, and the only place this was announced was on Instagram, which is silly. This seemed almost intentional, since this is the only restaurant in the area. We drove 30 minutes to come here and did not have other readily available options. The food quality was poor and nowhere near on par with the price we paid. The only passable items were the lobster bisque and the chocolate cake. I ordered a filet as a medium, and it came out rare. My husband ordered the chicken and risotto. The chicken was dry and the risotto had bits of undercooked rice. Our server was dealing with disgruntled patrons, and multiple tables walking out either within minutes of sitting down, or shortly after the first course. In the hour and a half we were there, we saw five couples leave prematurely. With that said, our server tried to make the best of the night, was attentive, and made attempts to correct my steak. Overall, we walked away feeling sorry for the staff present, and disappointed with a somewhat shady-feeling experience. We will not be back. Service Dine in Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I had a reservation for 2 and specifically said online “a table for a romantic dinner for 2.” When we got there there were several empty tables but we were sat right next to a group of people and felt like they were so close they could hear everything we were saying. Not super romantic. We asked if we could move to a booth or a different 2-top but the server said they had too many reservations for us to move. However, by the time we left, the tables we inquired about remained empty the entire time! The food was okay and we never got refills from our server. When we needed her we couldn’t find her. We won’t be returning, which is really unfortunate because the atmosphere was really cozy and unique. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
They made no announcement anywhere other than on instagram of their $95 per person Valentine’s Day menu. Our reservation was at 8pm, we decided against the $95 meal and had to scramble to find a nice place to eat. Completely ruined my view on this restaurant, I will never go back.
Such a bad at experience last night at Royal on the ridge. Every year my wife I take our kids out on Valentine’s day. She takes out son and I take our daughter. This a tradition that we have had for many years. In as much, we are very cautious where we book reservations to avoid the pre fix menu. When booking reservations online restaurants disclose if they have pre fix menu. Royal did not, was I surprised when I walked into a $95 pre fix menu only option that were never told disclosed. Apparently, they posted it on Instagram, not on the website or Open Table like every other restaurant does. I don’t even have Instagram. When asked if they could make my 7 year old something else, I was told they did not have any other food in the restaurant. They offed to cancel my reservation. Where else I am supposed to go on Valentine’s day??? I asked if they could offer small portions at a reduced price, they just offered a 25% discount, the only reason they have two stars in this review and not one. We sat down and I was informed by the waiter again they would be offered a discount. We ordered off the menu, and I ordered a cocktail. The soup came before the cocktail, the soup was maybe warm at best, my daughter did not finish and I asked for them to box it and we never saw that soup again. The entrees came out and they we warm but not hot. A few bites into our diner and dessert was on the table, also a new experience for me tonight. We were at smaller table and now had no room. Neither of us finished our food. I did get box this time. We had our bill in our face as soon as dessert was finished. Never asked if I wanted another drink. Probably the most cold dining experience I can remember between the food and the waitress. This was very sneaky money grab for this restaurant, If you are going to surprise people with this menu, at least prepare the food properly and serve it hot. We waited over 20 minutes, still no water or drink order. We weren’t even acknowledged! So we left. Get more servers! Very disappointing! Won’t go back! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
I saw this place on my Instagram feed and had to go, was not disappointed! This place atmosphere was stunning. The food was absolutely delicious and pretty heavy portions. Our server Rhayn was such a sweet heart and made us feel so comfortable. Definitely will be coming back and bring more family with us! 🖤🤘🏻 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A delightful brunch spot off the beaten path. We had the mini donuts, biscuits and gravy, croissant sandwich and eggs benedict. All of them were delicious, but for some reason were a little on the cooler side by the time they hit the table. So other than not being hot, the food, ambiance and service were great. Stumbled across this place as I was bringing my daughter for a birthday party in the area. I appreciated the coffee from local roasters and opted for the eggs benedict. The potatoes were delicious, coffee hot. The poached eggs were unfortunately cooked a little too much, the yoke wasn’t runny; the hollandaise sauce was flavourful. Checking their wine list, they have a large selection of various white and red grapes. And an extensive selection of classic cocktails. I may come back to enjoy a drink with friends atop the mountain. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
