Everything was good about this place. Service was good. Food was good. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is because they want to surcharge for an onion when you order a burger I personally think that’s ridiculous. However, my son did pull the fire alarm in the establishment and they were cool about it so that was also good. Me and my wife would come back however, Grandpa said he would not come back because of the onion surcharge. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped by for the first time today (Saturday) about a quarter to six. Places was a little over half full. Took a bit to order, but the waitress was very nice. She got our drinks and a short while brought out our cheese curds. That is when the good ended, we than sat for another 50 minutes with no food brought out. We were told a few times that our food would be out shortly. Unfortunately after an hours wait to only be told there was still about 5-6 others ahead of us we called it quits and cancelled our meal. The cheese curds were a little tough IMO, but at least that made it to us. If your kitchen is slow or your turn around for burgers is over an hour you should let people now before and not after making them sit for an hour. Me and my husband stopped by last week and I just found our receipt from that visit and I remembered I had been meaning to write a review about how wonderful our experience there was. I believe our server was Cristina and she went above and beyond our expectations. We’ve been to rookies a few times before and have received great service but this visit was simply memorable. My husband started off with a beer and she kept them coming for him our entire visit as she was constantly attentive and checking in on us. Cristina was incredibly patient with me changing my drink choice to a jalapeño margarita that I absolutely fell in love with also. When I ordered a delicious chicken and rice soup she also made sure to bring limes to pair it with as she said they would compliment my margarita well and that just brought her over the top. We are definitely thinking about visiting soon thanks to her and the tasty food and drink. Rookies is doing a fantastic job!
