This morning at 730 am, 30 miles into my 263 mile travel, new of this little place, after destroying the bathroom at the gas station across the street, had the best 10 buck ever, bread jams and jelly, small, granny serving, I over tipped for sure, probably upset the lady of the house! This little restaurant is attached to a bar, so if you don't look close, you'll miss it. The entrance is on the side, so it doesn't look like much but inside there is the epitome of a small town Cafe. The environment was welcoming and cozy. The food was delicious. We had the western omelet with blueberry pancakes. The omelet was made right and the toast tasted homemade. The blueberry pancakes were delicious and don't be afraid to pour the blueberry syrup over them. They brought fresh jams and butter for the toast. Don't pass it by. I had a burger and it was absolutely delicious. Service was ok. we were waiting for refills and ended up getting them ourselves. Staff was friendly and they were also busy for lunch when we were there. It is a cash only establishment, so be mindful of that going in. The food was excellent, and I would go back again if I was presented the opportunity. Good food for a good price. Got there before the locals filled the place for lunch. A bit entertained as the cook is not keen on substitutions or she likes to heckle you if you ask for on....not sure...but we had fun with it! Hard working gals at Rolette Cafe. The servings were generous and the food was great. The atmosphere is very down homesy. All very friendly people in this establishment. I would highly recommend the rolette cafe!
