Ate here twice during my 3 night stay in Presque Isle with my kids and was superb both times. Great food, service and ambience. Our server both nights was Katie who was incredible. Reasonable prices as well considering the quality and large portions. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious, even off the menu items like blueberry lemonade was scrumptious with real blueberries in it. Beautiful place, lovely staff, and delicious food.

This area is in need of restaurants so Rodney’s fits an important bill, but if you’re expecting fine dining this isn’t it. The kitchen definitely put out better dishes under the leadership of the first kitchen manager; now there isn’t a lot of skill or discrimination shown when it comes to many of the food or drink items, consistently enough for a low rating. This visit the salmon entree was done well but the chicken in the chicken piccata was tough and difficult to cut because of the dishware used, and the shrimp appetizer cocktail sauce had a barely noticeable level of horseradish. Also disappointing was my Negroni, which was highlighted on the previous cocktail list, and came tonight with a mint leaf floating on top, giving a nice appearance of the holiday ie red and green but ruining the flavor of the drink itself. Finally, it’s disappointing that side of Parmesan that comes when asked for is shredded and not grated, the latter being much easier to add to the top of a dish. On the plus side the restaurant itself is an attractive space, and the waitress Lisa is always a pleasure, she’s engaged and energetic and really good at her job. The rest of the staff, for us, has been inconsistent.

Collin, the front manager needs a different career path. The first time we were there, it was just mediocre, good service, bad Lobster Bisque. This weekend, our second try, it went beyond mediocre into the worst dining experience ever. Had to send back the $40 ribeye steak twice before we gave up on the third try. They ran out of white wine, and the floor manager gave my wife a hard time about her not liking the only white wine they had left. Only one left. He treated her with such rudeness and disrespect that I came out of my seat and said, "what did you just say to my wife??" He constantly was rolling his eyes at us and shrugged like he just didn't care. Eventually got to talk to the CEO, and she was nice but couldn't help since we had already paid our $220 bill for food we didn't eat. Despite the sub-par food at exorbitant prices, we will give it another try, as soon as they let go of Collin the abusive and disrespectful floor manager. Bartender was great, and our waitress was great and was embarrassed by the way we were treated. That's why SHE got a 30% tip in cash. Never going back if the manager is allowed to keep his job. The managers behavior wasn't just rude, it was plain unacceptable. And if you are going to charge 40 bucks for a steak...have someone who knows how to cook a steak do the cooking, please. The first experience I would have given 2 stars, this experience, I would give negative stars if I could. Presque Isle is too small of a town to have a restaurant with such potential, and staff it with malcontents in a managerial position, and not expect it to have a backlash.
