Begin februari wezen eten, maar niet wat we verwacht hadden. Verwarming stond super hoog; ik ben normaal een koukleum, maar ik dreef nog net mijn shirtje niet uit. Was echt niet te doen. Er liep 1 jongen in de bediening de benen uit zijn lijf, had heel het restaurant onder zijn hoede, terwijl diegene achter de bar zo goed als niets deed. Volgens mij hadden we een ernstig personeelstekort die avond, maar kom dan even melden/je excuses aanbieden. Wij hebben zo lang op de kaart voor het dessert moeten wachten dat we er om gevraagd hebben. Vervolgens moesten we weer heel lang wachten dat we maar de rekening hebben gevraagd. Het is eten is middelmatig en niets speciaals. De plastic van de carpaccio zat nog aan het vlees... Geen succes, geen aanrader en was gewoon zielig voor die ene jongen in de bediening - als baas had ik mij kapot geschaamd. I don’t normally give 5 stars across the board, but these guys deserve it. Been here 5 times now and very much enjoy the food and ambiance. I was not impressed with the steak in an earlier visit and have avoided steak since, but everything else has been fantastic (which is indeed high praise as steak is normally my first choice). Dikke Afrader: Prosecco die toch al even in de koelkast stond zonder bubbels . De carpaccio van zalm wordt bij hun een portietje gerookte zalm van zelfs zeer zwakke kwaliteit . De pasta vongole met een paar schelpjes, de rest zwom waarschijnlijk nog in zee. De pasta carbonara miste enige vorm van smaak. Men vergat zelfs ons te komen vragen of er nog iets te drinken moest zijn na het aperitief. Zeer zwakke bedoening. Voor mij een afrader. Omdat er een groepsreservering was, waren wij, uitzonderlijk, ook welkom op maandag. We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Lekker anti pasta met heerlijk verse kleine broodjes van deeg, met dito verse en niet te versmaden knoflook boter. Kok en bediening super vriendelijk. Heerlijke ravioli & zwarte pasta met coquille als hoofd. Alles vers, alles lekker. Fijne montepulciano als huiswijn. Kortom, een aanrader!
