Ristorante La Paterna is a charming and cozy restaurant located in Giavera del Montello. The restaurant is housed in an old farmhouse, which has been recently renovated with a chic style that conveys a sense of solid tradition combined with a touch of modernity. The staff is very friendly and helpful, providing detailed explanations about the dishes of both meat and fish. The menu is somewhat limited, but upon request one can have a wider range of options. The wine list was not presented to us, but they did offer us a Soave and a Pinot Collio. The outdoor area is untended and neglected, and the tablecloth is absent, yet the cover charge is €3.60. The food was excellent, particularly the tartare which was truly outstanding. The costata marezzata was tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked, accompanied by mixed side dishes and roasted potatoes. The Merlot we drank was good, perhaps slightly oaky. The price-quality ratio is adequate to the offer and service. Overall, Ristorante La Paterna is an excellent restaurant with great food, friendly staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients is of the highest level, and the dishes are prepared with respect and skill. The wine list is varied in terms of both offerings and regional wines. The prices may seem high at first glance, but they are in line with the offer. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!
