Fre restaurant in Monforte d'Alba is an amazing dining experience. The 5 course tasting menu was delicious and the wine pairing was perfect. The service was outstanding and attentive, with waiters who were knowledgeable and happy to explain each dish. The location is beautiful and surrounded by vineyards, with a stunning view from the terrace. The food is creative and modern, with traditional recipes given a new twist. The presentation of each dish was like a work of art. The wine list was intelligently curated and the maitres were able to suggest the right bottle or wine pairing. For dessert, there was a pre-dessert served in the kitchen, as well as a gelly and canned peach dish which was unfortunately not as good. All in all, Fre offers a luxurious and unique dining experience that is worth the cost.
