The food was ok, I can't say it was great but I wasn't hungry when I left. The server was great. We had a large group and she handled us very well. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered two 2-meat platters last night - picked up at 8:15pm. Asked for the chopped brisket (w/extra meat for myself & my husband). We were extremely hungry and this place sounded good to try. Our brisket was 40% fat, gristle and veins. It seems like these piles of meat should've been scraped into the trash can but they loaded up our to-go orders, instead. See the photo. I promise you - it looks much worse today because the fat has congealed and turned white. Actually, I'll take another photo and edit this review shortly. If our experience were a dine-in, these dinners would've gone back to the kitchen to improve. This was our first time eating here. We are in town for the week so my husband can earn a certification for work and I'm in IT so I can WFH. I chose this place (convinced my husband it would be wonderful) and quickly regretted it. Y'all made me look like an idiot (spending $40 + a $9 tip on two meals) and then provided me with such poor quality food I wouldn't feed it to a stray dog, let alone my husband or myself or even our own dog. Is this how you conduct business regularly or is it just for working folks who order at the end of the day? Do you allow the cooks to serve worse food to people who take out vs dine in? I feel like I've been taken advantage of and y'all really need to improve on training your people ethically. Poor quality. Slow service. Dirty restaurant. Overwhelmed, waitress. Ridiculously small portions for the high cost. Incomplete order. Very disappointed after several stops at the location over the years. It has deteriorated horribly. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Food was fine. The hostess was probably the worst I’ve seen in years. I think a kind greeting and a smile may have caused her to go into cardiac arrest. Hopefully she’ll have a better week, was there on WEDNESDAY THE 17.Th around 11:20. Probably won’t come back, waitresses were fine. Wouldn’t want to bother the hostess. The sides were good (tato salad and greens), toast were nice and buttery, but the proteins. I order a 4 meat plate (ribs, pull pork, brisket and jalapeño cheese links) the brisket had the smoke ring and the color but as flavor goes it was lacking it. Ribs seem steamed and have ok flavor but feel more like oven cooked then bbq cooked. Pulled pork had a great color and a good texture but again the flavor wasn't there. Their sauces are good but good BBQ shouldn't need sauce 😞 I'm giving it a 3 just cause my wife says I'm being too hard on them cause I can't expect them to do as good as back home (texas) Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
