Great location with wonderful view, but this is the only good thing about this place.
Management is awful, so rude and no professional. We have tried to organize family celebration in this restaurant and from the first contact when everything was ok and we almost agreed on the following steps, next 2 months the general manager did not reply to calls neither to the messages. From time to time, after several tries to reach him, he sends us a message that he is in a hurry, he is in hospital, he will send us the menu tomorrow, etc. I cannot remember al the excuses anymore. However, after 2 months of lying to us, he finally replied to a call and told us that he is not interested to rent the restaurant for our occasion because he can earn much more in this period due to the "Drinska Regata". When we asked him for another termin, we spent another month of trying to communicate him to send us menus and offers, as he told us that he would do it "tomorrow".
After another month of trying and forwarding our communication to the manager of the stuff of the restaurant they sent us some offers for which price was about 5 times higher that in all other places in Bajina Basta. When we asked them to reduce menus and prices, they told us to choose the menu combinations from the list they already sent us. When we sent them menus with much reduced offers that the first one, they sent us offers with even higher prices than the first time...
Very rude and non-professional management. It is such a petty that the restaurant with such a great location, view and natural resources is given to some personalities of this kind to manage it.

Food is rather below mediocre. Tomato salat is a sliced up tomato -that's it: no oil, salt, onions or vinegar. Quite pricey. Nice service people, but unfortunately not good. The surroundings are pretty, though. It’s okay to sit and have a drink, I guess.

We had a dinner for 14 people plus some small children, and the service and food was great! Views are amazing. The sound of the waterfall is nice, but can be loud. Can recommend to take a walk to the source of the river, across the road from the restaurant and 10 minutes of walking.

The view is incredible but the service is terrible. Servers are professioals in the art of ignoring customers. It's painful to just sit and wait. The food is mediocre.
Was suggested this place by my tour guide and to try the simple plain grilled Trout dish and I must say this has been the best trout I've had so far!
They have the freshest trout here (as they do Trout fish farming here).
It's so fresh here that you really need no other condiments, just grilled with a bit of salt and olive oil is perfect.
The ambience is great too, with seating just by the river.
The service is so so, for a touristy place you expect a bit more but my guide helped order so wasn't much of a problem.

The setting is difficult to beat, a spacious terrace next to a bright green river and amid the foliage.
The beef ĉorba was flavourful, the lamb casserole was delicious and copious, and the Kobasica (sausages) tasty with just a hint of spice. Only the srpska salad was a bit bland.
And our waiter was very friendly.

Earlier reviews left me wary that this place was all about its unmatched location over a waterfall. It was a delightful surprise when the food lived up to the view. Everything we ordered was absolutely scrumptious. Come for the view, stay for the food.
Pretty amazing place placed over a waterfall. Outside seating offers amazing views no matter where you sit. The food was good, the server was very nice to us and we did not wait at all for our food. The prices are on a bit expensive side but more than worth it for the view and the whole experience. Definitely must visit!
Worst Meal in Serbia. Just view and sound of the Vrelo river. Service staff is fast and try to help but kitchen and operation organization is very poor. No english menü card.After a fish order 45 min waited. Fishes were overcooked, fries are rubbish. The smallest salad in Serbia. If you want to come here just drink coffee or beer, eat somewhere else.
