This restaurant was recommended by family, and it did not disappoint. It was a little hard to find you'll drive right past it if you do not keep an eye out. It's right next to a Foremost liquors store. The inside of the restaurant was decorated with a rustic Bulgarian theme. That's what I figure, at least. The service was great. The waiters were helpful, quick, and did not make any mistakes. The food was tasty, very well seasoned. The restaurant serves Bulgarian grilled meats. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because it was a little greasier than I liked. Other than that, I thought the food was great! Each plate was around 15 to 25 dollars, but they were hefty. I could have easily shared an entree with my wife. We tried the homemade Bulgarian cake, it's not as sweet as what we are used to but was tasty none the less. My first Bulgarian experience and the food and service were very good. The restaurant is pretty nondescript and the parking situation is confusing, but the actual restaurant is cozy and is decorated like a Bulgarian tavern. There are a handful of vegetarian dishes, but you won’t find too much if you’re vegan. Overall, the food was good. You can clearly see the Spanish and Greek influences in the items on the menu and the ingredients being used. I was most pleased with the service, which was fast and friendly. Generally, I don’t think vegetarians would go back here many times… but this is absolutely a place to try a cuisine that many people haven’t ever experienced before.
