First I feel compelled to say if you aren't here for food, this place is awesome. Huge selection of beer and wine, full bar, exceptional servers. Great atmosphere. But the food? I'm 0 for 3 here and this last trip sealed it. I won't be back to eat. I had the smash burger, fries, and a salad. Harmless and easy, right? Yeah. The house dressing I assume is pure basalmic vinegar and nothing else. And the salad was saturated in it. The burger was unseasoned, flavorless. Not a hint of even salt. The sauce for the burger was likewise bland. Like it was almost unreal... I could taste the pickles, but almost nothing else. And the fries. Either undercooked or cooked at too low a temp. These were a pale whitish-yellow and tasted of cold fryer grease. I'll try again in a couple years. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm quite disappointed with the food we received this afternoon, especially considering this place usually serves awesome food. The combination of exceptional servers and a perfect atmosphere has always made it an ideal spot for my mom and me to catch up. While I typically don't mind restaurants changing their menus, today was an exception. The Son of the Beast, a Delmonico 12oz ribeye with butter & white wine crispy garlic redskin potatoes, grilled asparagus, and creamy black pepper bourbon sauce, was substituted with a ribeye steak accompanied by truffle fries and asparagus. Unfortunately, the replacement was dry, improperly cooked, and lacked seasoning. The mushroom burger was also peculiar, with rubbery mushrooms. Our server kindly brought the chef over to address our concerns. The chef claimed that the ribeye was a superior cut compared to the discontinued Delmonico steak. However, despite being a better cut, it lacked the flavor and quality of the Son of the Beast. We plan to give this place one more chance. While the service and atmosphere are excellent, if the food doesn't match the same level of awesome quality, we may have to reconsider spending our money here. They store fruited beers on the room temperature shelf for singles once they are broken down from the packs. One of them I bought was fully skunked and now I’m out of state and wasn’t able to make a return. On the side of the can it says “store in the refrigerator or re-fermentation will occur”, I know they are specialty beers but they are very pricey and this is a specialty beer store who I would hope wants to take care of the beer and their customers. Y’all can definitely end up getting someone sick due to mold growth if not stored properly and is something that should be rectified ASAP. Beyond that, Solid place every time I roll through. Always got great selection and decent prices for the area, sometimes the staff can be a little finicky on the retail side though and make you seem like a burden. Been coming here for years before I moved away. I’ll definitely keep going back when I visit family but I hope they can change the refrigerator situation for the fruited beers. Price per person $20–30
We arrived at 330 and it wasn't crowded or busy. Our server was friendly but not very attentive. We waited for a while before placing our order. My wife ordered a cocktail which she did not like and barely drank. Instead of asking if she wanted something different it sar on the table with the ice melting. The food was delicious. She brought our bill then we waited for her to even pay the bill. I had to ask another employee to get her. We're truly mixed if we want to try this place again. Service needs to improve. Absolutely love the new menu at RWB in Mentor. The chef is amazing and the food outstanding! We have been regulars for years and I think tonight's meal was one of the best! You have a true gem in Chef Nick and we cannot wait to try more of the new menu items. And of course Joe, the manager, and Frank, the bartender, are two of the best around! Thanks for always delivering top notch service, great food and good wine! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
