The ice cream is average and the customer service could be better. Next time I’m trying Grandma's Fudge Factory for ice cream across from Bucket of Blood 🪣🩸

The food here is good everything is fresh but when you have 5 people working at the candy section and 3 of them are standing around and only one person working food service it takes for ever to even get an order in and longer to receive food. Would be nice if they had more help in the food part of it

I bought a box of truffles here. A tiny bit more expensive then what I’ve paid for truffles in the past, but this place is also in the middle of nowhere so I’ll let it slide. I can easily say no where else in Virginia city smells as good as this shop. The hot dog smell had me drooling every time I walked last. Also the young men working here were the epitome of politeness. True gentleman. I highly recommend this shop. It’s what America should be

Really neat how they make the candy there. My favorite was the rock candy display. Their prices were great! People were mostly there for the ice cream.

This place is the absolute best in all regards! From the handmade candy, to the amazing deli sandwiches, not to mention the top tier customer service! It’s one of Virginia City’s gems! You can tell they work incredibly hard at everything! Pricing is absolutely fair (especially given todays economy) and again the quality is awesome! If you’re in Virginia City you must stop at Red’s!

I spent my childhood in Virginia City, and some of my fondest memories are going to Reds with my Poppop for treats. I think about the waffle cone smell more than I'd like to admit. Just thinking about Red's makes me happy. I hope to go there again sometime soon.

this place is so cute and old fashioned! they have a wide variety of ice cream flavors as well as brittles and snacks. however, during my visit, it was staffed by children. now to be fair, it seemed like it was their first days working, but the customer service was lacking and they did NOT wear gloves when serving food. overall, 3/5 stars.
