Rainbow Chinese Restaurant in Newton Stewart is a great spot for a delicious Chinese meal. The takeaway service is fast and efficient, with generous portions that will easily feed two people. The Salt and Pepper Ribs are to be avoided, however, as they are not cooked properly and are covered in batter. The Canton Duck is highly recommended, as it is full of flavour and the meat is cooked perfectly. The Singapore style chow mein is also a great option, and the fried chicken and pork may look unappetising but it actually has no discernible taste and is full of meat. The staff are polite and helpful, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Cash payment only. Highly recommended!
