We enjoyed a couple of Smash burgers and a bottle of wine. The food was excellent with one caveat. The burger patti was good quality but it was unseasoned while the shoestring fries were slightly under cooked. Our server was friendly and worked quickly. R Bar is a great addition to the dinner options in Orcutt! Fun atmosphere, great food and service and reasonable prices. Seeing Kay's Kitchen transformed into a dinner house right on Clark Ave has been a long time coming. Quickly becoming a favorite! Fabulous dinner at R bar tonight. I did not want the clam chowder that was being served and the chefs, so very kindly, prepped me a chicken broccoli chowder that was fabulous!!! I have never had such wonderful accommodations. I also ordered the steak bites and fries that were amazing. Cooked to perfection medium rare, very tender! Thank you! It smells rotten in the front room. Steak and fries were WAYYY too salty. While the back room was interesting, it paled in relief to the other institutions in the area. Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
