I asked for whip on my hot chocolate, but was told they don't add whip on hot drinks. Odd, since I got whip last time I visited. My $10.60 order for two small drinks seemed pricey—especially the $5.30 for hot chocolate. Even Starbucks' is cheaper at $3.35. And comes with free whip cream. Plus, I paid $11, and the cashier did not give me my change back; saying that he didn't have any change. I requested a receipt, and he gave me a copy that did not show how much I paid. The ORIGINAL Qahwah House in Dearborn is rich in history and phenomenal coffee and chai. We got the Adeni Chai and it was smooth as silk, full of deep aromas and flavor. 10 out of 10! It is a MUST if you are in Dearborn. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love this Qahwah house location and that they’ve expanded to many locations while maintaining the same level of quality across all locations. I love every drink I’ve ever tried. The teas and the coffees are both very delicious. Definitely recommend coming here. This place absolutely deserves its high ratings! I enjoyed a terrific Americano coffee and scrumptious tomato croissant, while soaking up their chic and charming atmosphere. The place is sparkling clean, and the staff is attentive and hospitable. Fantastic! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great customer service; friendly engaged staff. Great authentic drinks and surprisingly good savory and sweet food items. Very nice tables. Great heavy NO-WOBBLE bases with rustic ceder-like wood-finish tops. Surprisingly ergonomic wood and steel seating.
