Love. Love. Love. This restaurant is where fine dining meets real people. It's like being in Oakland but eating food at a high end restaurant in Napa or SF. We love the weekend brunch, take advantage of the Friday night dinners now and then, and we always feel welcomed by the staff. I was made deathly ill from consuming hidden wheat products in the black bean burger at Provisions last year. As a customer and as an employee I was told by owner and general manager that the handmade black bean patties were gluten-free without the bun. After many months of regularly consuming that meal, I kept finding myself not feeling well and had major digestive issues and kept asking what the specific ingredients were. Turns out they were not made from scratch, but they would throw packaging away when received and ingredients were not listed anywhere for cooks to relay info. One day a cook found the package in the trash and let me know that the third ingredient was wheat breadcrumbs. I became very ill and almost died as a result. On my return to work (I didn't know at the time why I became so sick so fast) I was told by the owner to remain on pain pills to get through my shifts. One week later she fired me via email for pouring myself a small taste of hard cider to have on my lunch break, not that I had an excuse, but it was commonplace for the culture there as the General Manager would regularly consume full pints of beer and full glasses of cocktails during their shift. I've not pressed any charges; I'm still paying off my medical debts and I have not been public about these events until now because I want to make it clear just how reckless and dangerous a business such as this can be. I get that this community is hungry for a place with "cool vibes" and an inclusive menu. But at what cost? There are good people that work there and sadly, my story is not completely unique for many customers and prior employees who have also suffered forms of toxicity and abuse. Food: 1

We typically love this place. We were excited for the brunch offering. Unfortunately that was met with disappointment and a very disrespectful and heard conversation between two of the staff when one asked We left. Brunch, also known as breakfast lunch is common name for offering two options during early hours of the day. When one staff member asked why we were leaving the one staff member replied that we were here for breakfast, or as we asked about the brunch options, the other staff member laughed and said who would do that. An unfortunate causality of respect in our current time is the lack of understanding. There were zero brunch options, none, the special menu had nothing that related to brunch. Do better next time and maybe give management and your staff some education on what brunch means. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
