I Love meeting friends for lunch or enjoying a superb dinner at the Proud Cut Saloon and Steakhouse. Such a nice Country Western atmosphere and the employees are so accommodating. Visited on our way to Yellowstone (surprise surprise). The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and there was a nice outside area to sit that also had a bar. My mom and I both had a steak; they were cooked perfectly and very tender, but lacked seasoning extremely bad. However, the seafood chowder and fries were amazing. Would be back again to give the steak another shot. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Seafood Chowder

We loved everything about this place. The food we had was the best we had in our entire trip from Jackson Hole through Yellowstone to Cody. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, the onion rings and the four cheese Mac n Cheese were amazing and the bread pudding dessert that we thought we were too full to eat was not to be missed! We have one more day in Cody and we will be back. We met the owner and it turns out he has ties to Maryland and WV where we currently live. It’s a small world. Don’t miss this place. It has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful food! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had Laura as our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive. She helped us with our questions about the menu and for other things to do in town. We ordered the Rocky Mountain Oysters for an appetizer and they were yummy! The steak and shrimp was delicious and the Mac and cheese was to die for. We will definitely be recommending this place! I would also suggest making a reservation 48 hours in advance since they fill up quick. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
🥰Cozy traditional restaurant on the main street of Cody. Large selection of meat and fish dishes, various salads. The food was tasty, but compared to the restaurant on the same street, it was inferior in taste( my subjective opinion ). Friendly staff, waiting for food to be served up to 15 minutes. nice atmosphere and country music. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered a couple 12 oz med rare prime rib meals to go. When we got home and cut into them they were very, very rare. I regret even having a couple of bites because I hope I don’t feel sick later on. The manager tried to say that you can’t get sick from undercooked red meat…which is concerning in and of itself, a quick google search at bare minimum can educate anyone. Both of our meats were factually rare. I understand cooks on meats are subjective to some but this was not by any measure a medium rare. I suppose some may like their meat near raw but there was no medium in this meat, it was rare as can be. We have had some exceptionally good meals here before but the inconsistencies over our last couple of visits has been disappointing. I did give positive stars for the service because although the comment about not getting a food borne illness was alarming…we did appreciate that the manager made it right. Our entire meals were recooked and she even threw in a yummy complimentary dessert. I gave stars for the bread pudding & mac & cheese side. I’m a local and I will say confidently that there’s much better places to eat in Cody. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
A great little restaurant on the main strip. You can sit at with the tables or at the bar. As a solo traveler I chose the bar and was so glad that I did! Jesse was running the bar that night and was an absolute pleasure to chat with. Besides providing a great detailed breakdown of the menu and recommendations on what to have, she also offered free tourist advice on the best bars and on the surrounding area. To be fair, the food was so good I came back three nights in a row! The streak is excellent. The Thai salad also was superb. I would also strongly recommend the cobbler if they have it on the menu. I will certainly be back next time I am in town! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
The food was just absolutely amazing. My server was very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who wants a good juicy steak and divine fried green tomatoes. Definitely coming back! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

My brother and I ate here for dinner and had a great experience. Our waitress was very good and the food was delicious. I had the Mac and cheese with buffalo chicken and bleu cheese. It was some of the best Mac and cheese I've had. My brother's prime rib was perfectly done and didn't last long! We ended our meal with wonderful desserts. I had the peanut butter pie and my brother chose the cherry cobbler. They both were great ways to end our meals.
