Do not leave without enjoying perfectly cooked coleslaw, sirloins and bacon. You will enjoy its food, particularly good blueberry pancakes, French toasts and muffins. Great coffee is served at this confectionary restaurant. The cozy atmosphere of Poor Boy's Diner allows visitors to relax after a hard working day. The competent staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The spectacular service is a big benefit of this place. From the guests' point of view, prices are democratic. As many guests state, the decor of this spot is beautiful. 4.5 is what this confectionary restaurant received from the Google rating system.

It was my 1st time here and we mentioned to the waitress we had a party of 5 and a toddler. We needed a high chair, so when we were seated they only had 5 chairs and no high chair. When mentioned to the waitress about the high chair she was very snappy and said we're going to have to fit it in the corner. The whole time our waitress had an attitude and seemed like she couldn't be bothered. I'm all about the experience and the food was just ok so i don't think I'll ever go back there. We stopped in for the first time traveling through the area. It's easy off and on the highway and is near the exit. They were very busy, but they seated us promptly. The restaurant appeared very clean. The waitresses were hopping! They don't bug you, but anticipated everything you need. Very attentive and friendly and quick getting drinks and orders. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Delicious lunch! Exactly what you are looking for from an old school diner. We found this Diner last Friday on our last day while a 21-day-roadtrip through MA, NH and ME and we got there definitely the best and most delicious burgers ever! The waitress (probably owner of the diner) had an enormous stress, was extremely busy, but all the time very friendly, kind and attentive, and always a smile on her face and still a few friendly words. It's different than any other diners that I visited it actually has food that's kind of good. The burgers there are quite delicious. And the atmosphere is not really that bad, quite normal and calmly, nothing too serious. I would recommend eating there it's not always too busy, but I wouldn't recommend eating the macaroni and cheese too garlicky. But I would like some of the steak food but I would recommend their new burger boy stack it is quite delicious. Visited whenever you come there it's not always too busy. The food here is fantastic! So much selection to choose from. You can't go wrong with any selection. Great apps and quite a few beers too. I had a wild burger and it was cooked perfect. I also had the clam chowder and that was really good too. I even got a pc of peanut butter 🥜 pie to take home. Couldn't resist one of their desserts. Breakfast or lunch, just the best! A Londonderry staple, and it's easy to see why. It was a busy Friday night, and the wait staff appeared to consist of only three girls. You'd think they would be tense under those circumstances, but that was not the case. Polite, bubbly, and all around cheerful and pleasant. A very nice experience for both me and my girlfriend after a long day! The restaurant itself has an odd layout. Almost like an old school diner with an attached house would be one way to describe it. But layout aside, the place was clean. Vents dust free, tables wiped, and immaculate restrooms. With the exception of the carrots, the food is amazing. The carrots weren't gross, just plain and boring. A simple boiled carrot and that's it. Add some butter, salt, and pepper and boom. Much better. That said... Best clam chowder ever, and loads of clams. Usually it's all potato, that's not the case here! Perfectly seasoned also. I always need extra pepper for my chowder, but not this time! Potato skins were crispy, cheesy, salty, gooey morsels of flavor explosions just waiting to be devoured! We both got the meatloaf dinner. They didn't say that each portion was a legit entire meatloaf! Again, perfectly seasoned! Also a nice firm, but soft texture. It was not mush, which alot of places end up serving. Although, not on the menu, they do have mashed potatoes and they do it right. The gravy seemed a little lazy as it clearly tasted of McCormick's instant gravy, this being a little to salty. Getting it on the side may have been a better decision on my part. This location also acts as a truck stop in regards to parking and dining! Bottom line is, this place slams! 100% will be back. Oh and btw, they do breakfast all day as well as provide quite a few lobster dishes. The lobster Benedict's sound delicious! Thank you for an out of this world experience poor Boy's staff! Update 9/20/23 Went back and tried the brisket bennies. Absolutely delicious! The Nitro tenders are also amazing. Not to spicy with a certain zestyness to it! I cannot recommend this place enough!
