Polpetteria in Catania is a great restaurant located on a charming street full of restaurants. Its unique concept and Sicilian wine selection caught our attention and the food and service did not disappoint. We had the chance to try many different dishes, from fish patties to burgers and fries, all of which were delicious. The meatballs are definitely a must-try; we particularly enjoyed the chicken curry meatballs, fried fava bean appetizer, and pizzas with funghi and garlicky white sauce. The wait staff was friendly and patient, and they allowed us to take leftovers home. Prices are reasonable and the wine list is surprisingly deep. Whether you're looking for a light snack or a full meal, Polpetteria is the perfect place to go.
