Pablanos has always been one of my favorites, and after having not been for years I am happy to report that they still don't disappoint. During this time when food prices are constantly rising, but food quality isn't, it's great to know there are places you can still count on for a decent meal. There was only one little thing that kinda sucked, and it was that the salsa bar has fewer selections now. If I remember correctly, there using to be about six options, and now there are only three. Our food was great! Service was okay but we did go to eat within the last hour of their hours so we figured they were busy doing closing duties. Not a big deal as someone who's worked in restaurants in the past. Managers should talk about staffing issues and potentially firing someone that didn't come in for their shift in the back of house vs. behind the bar. You also shouldn't take out your frustration on the host who did show up for their job. Please be mindful of your hardworking and friendly employees. He was doing a great job. Took my son and friend for their birthday dinner. We hadn't been here before and usually just stick with the Mexican food in our area. The food was so good we forgot to take pics before we started eating lol. The waitress was very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. Def planning a trip back soon. We went on Monday around 4pm and it wasn't overly crowded when we went in, but there was a wait for a table as we were leaving after 5. Chimichangas, cheese dip, Chile relleno, and tamale were our favorites out of everything we tried. The only thing we didn't like was the bean (salsa?) they brought out with the chips while waiting on our food, but there's a salsa bar at the front to get salsa if you prefer. Cost for 3 meals plus drinks and cheese dip was around $60 (each of the combination dinners came on 2 plates). We had enough left for another meal later lol. Per the suggestion of our wonderful and stunning waitress, Salena, I had the bacon and shrimp tacos with mango salsa. Very unique and well put together. Salena 100% deserves a raise. Their Salsa bar includes mild to hot. I definitely will be visiting again. 11/10.
