We just came here after eating to enjoy a couple of drinks and I don't really drink so I had no idea what to get. The bar tender asked what I like and I said something sweet so she made me this incredible moh something but she used dragon fruit rum and it was incredible. I think it had enough liquor that one was enough for me. But she was amazing and helpful. It was late and a week night so there was not a lot going on. Plus we had never been here and just stopped in. I think it is or was a bikers bar but there were families in here eating so I think you can bring your family here for food. The Freedom Fest that they used to operate out of the Platte River Bar and Grill each summer was one of my favorite things to do in Littleton every summer. I am not sure if they still put it on each summer, but it was a 80's hard Rock music festival each year that would bring in some excellent and large named bands. I went to the music festival a few times and was able to see Warrant, Winger, Skid Row, Lita Ford, and so many other great bands. The set up was always great. Great food and staff. Big outdoor patio for the summer time, large enclosed patio for year round. More of the rustic outdoor feel. Good number of TVs. This place can crack out food and drinks for it's size. A half dozen employees have been there 10-20 years. Large 32 ounce margaritas and beers if you are up for it. Great wings deal on Wednesdays, all about their lunch special too. This was my first time at this restaurant and I will be back. I came for lunch with a group from work. The service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent as everyone cleared their plates.
