This was by far the best place I stopped so far for food. I have read reviews online and quickly tried to research places and none of then compared to this. They were bland or outright were disgusting. This place delivered fresh, hot, flavorful food. I am a tourist and do not exactly know what I had. But it was phenomenal. If you see this Gem, absolutely stop here. Our server was great as well! She made a list for places I need to check out on the island. Definitely come check this place out.

Food was delicious. Service, excellent. Atmosphere, terrific. It wasn’t always like this. Our server was very knowledgeable and patient. Our cocktails came promptly; my wife actually sent her Mojito back (first time) and it was replaced with perfection. Place was dark and busy with not too loud live music opposite the bar. Server came over the exact right amount of times to check on us. Chocolate cake for dessert was heavenly. Best rice and beans I have had (outside of my home). Lucky we didn’t order appetizers, because the main courses were plenty. Really excellent place.

I enjoyed my last dinner in Puerto Rico. I ate too much mofongo here and it turned out I am not a big fan of it. The pork with plantain appetizer was mediocre. I am not a big fan of plantain either. Puerto Rican food has a variety of styles for cooking plantains, but plantains are bland and less sweet than bananas. So, I chose to order the seafood paella. They cooked it in with a little modified sauce, and it tasted so rich and delicious with a few fresh seafoods. Mofongo is Puerto Rican’s favorite, while paella is ppl’s favorite throughout the world.
This restaurant also had a wonderful vibe with delightful decorations, and a little dim but warm light. There were large screens for games. The service could be more attentive.
