Our first visit was during restaurant week and we were blown away. Service and food were both excellent. Incredibly great deal for a restaurant week menu, and very much worth it at full price as well. I took a risk and tried the turtle gumbo, incredible. I never order pork chops at restaurants, but can't wait for my next visit to order another one. Best pork chop I've ever had! Located in Schaumburg, IL, Perry's Steakhouse & Grille is a beautiful sight for sore eyes, and it is very nice to visit. The food is exceptional! With some of my food allergies, the restaurant went above and beyond with preparing my food to accommodate my needs. I enjoyed the Cherry Pepper Calamari and the sexy Perry’s Famous Pork Chop with mashed potatoes and apple sauce. Wow! Great food. The service was delightful! The server who served me was Joel. What an amazing man to meet! He walked me through the menu, refilled my water in a great timely manner, and made me feel comfortable. The other staff were amazing as well! Very great service at Perry's Steakhouse & Grille! The atmosphere was to cry for! What a beautiful and comfortable restaurant to enjoy. I love the background music and the decor. Amazing experience for my first time there with my wife. Shae was our waiter and he was beyond patient and offered great suggestions. The pork chops are the juiciest, must flavorful I've ever had and their bread pudding marshmallow dessert was beyond delicious. A very classy interior with beautiful decor. Will definitely return. What a meal! We went in for a small lighter dinner and ended up sharing the Smorgasbord! OMG, I am not kidding. You have to love this thing a meal of art! We share amongst three of us and should have had a 4th as there was that much food! Great drinks and amazing desserts. Have to try the bread pudding. Service was great, but be warned when they offer you soup or salad after you order your entree it is NOT included. We were surprised to see it on our bill, the server should have clarified it was additional. From how she phrased it, it sounded like it was included and we had to pick from the choices. Pork chop was amazing, I ordered my ribeye steak medium rare and it came close to well done. The top of the macaroni and cheese was hard and dry like it was sitting under the heat lamp for too long, and it could have used more sauce. I expected better for a $400 bill. The appetizers, blue cheese wedge salad and beet salad were fantastic, drinks were great, but overall disappointed with the main meal. I wish I sent back the steak. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive and very knowledgeable. She answered our questions and offered options. I ordered the chopped salad and pork chop. Boyfriend had the lobster bisque and 14 Oz ribeye ordered medium rare and au gratin potatoes to split. The chopped salad was amazing but large. The lobster bisque was good but not amazing. The pork chop is huge and when they bring it to your table they then cut it down into ribs, the loin and what they call the eyelash. Very, very good. B/f ribeye was not an even cut which means different areas of the steak were overcooked. The au gratin potatoes had spots that were extremely salty. Dessert was Bananas foster, presentation was beautiful but the ice cream was rock hard. Food was okay and service was really poor. It took a while to get our drink order taken and another 15 minutes to be served them. My Mai Tai was plain and not very flavorful. The steak and tater tot bites were good- my wife thought they were really salty. I enjoyed the lobster bisque soup. My wife also liked her French onion soup. My steak came out incorrectly with garlic butter on it (I get horrible indigestion from it) instead of béarnaise sauce. Our server never came back to check on us so after 15 minutes I tracked down another server who took my food away. The steak came back 5 minutes later barely warm and still tasted a bit like garlic. I could obviously tell them just scraped the garlic and butter off and maybe ran it under the sink. At this point I did not send it back again as my party was already done eating. The chocolate crunch tower was okay, more peanut butter than chocolate. The server rallied a little at the end by refilling our waters and coming by more often but it was too little too late. For the $300+ we spent on dinner we expected more. With all of the other steak houses in the area to choose from we will not be returning any time too soon. Went here for my birthday last night. Honestly just wanted a good steakhouse around the area and we stumbled upon this gem. First off, the service was incredible. I can’t remember our waitresses name but she was awesome and super helpful. The food was 10/10!! Lobster bisque was so good. Also got some shrimp cocktail which was delicious and of course the filet and cowboy ribeye. The steak butter they put on the steaks adds so much flavor & we also got the trio of sauces to try. Not only was the food amazing but the ambience was perfect. They had the fireplaces going on the patio and the dim lighting and it just made for a perfect evening. Definitely will be going back!!! If all they had on their menu is their pork chop, it would still be worth the visit. The pork chop is spectacular. I've never had a pork chop even close to to what Perry's offers. Perry's hosted our private event in the connected rooms. The ambiance of the rooms was great,but we were not fans of the bull image in one of the rooms. It did not go well with the religious occasion that we were hosting. However, it's supposedly the logo of the brand, and it had to stay. Anyway,we were able to decorate the room to somehow distract our guests from the bull on the wall. The communication with the manager was easy,and she always responded in a timely manner. On the day of, we were given a head server to lead service in our room. She was great. However, the kitchen did not bring the bread or the appetizers until over one hour past the party start time. What came as a shock was the fact that the stuffed mushrooms and calamari were not hot. I brought it to Francesca's attention,and she did bring us apperizers that were warmer. Unfortunately, it was almost time for entrées,so most of the appetizers did not get eaten. The entrées were made to order,and they were good. Perry's pork special was a real treat to many. We got two sides served family style, the au gratin potatoes were really tasty, but the charred veggies could have been grilled a little longer. The dessert trio was pretty good. Still, some of the guests ordered coffee and other drinks toward the end of the party,and even though the orders were taken, they never arrived because our party was cut short 15 minutes before the 3-hour time frame that we had in our contract. I did reach out about the issue to the manager,but it looks like after the bill was paid, they were not interested in making things right. All in all, there is room for improvement in the private event department at Perry's Steakhouse. September 2023: Dining at the restaurant was a great experience. The service and the food were both wonderful. The Perry's famous dinner-cut pork and the coffee crusted fillet mignon mediallion are exceptional. The beet salad could use some more flavor.. but it was fresh and vibrant. The kids loved their meals, and the portions were very generous.
