What a nice experience. We don’t even like seafood. However, the burger was one of the best I’ve had. The New England clam chowder was amazing. Nice and hearty. Not just broth and potatoes. Will absolutely go back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The fried scallops, and chicken Tenders were slightly overcooked. The texture was off but the flavor was on! Friendly staff! Will go back for sure! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm moving to the area and was recommended this place by a local. I was not disappointed! I ordered the clam chowder and the clam strip lunch basket. My dad ordered the whole belly clams. Everything was fresh and delicious. I look forward to trying their lobster rolls in the future! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I overall had a good experience here. However, I will say, we sat on the patio, which is literally about 30 feet from the penobscot river, which makes for amazing views. What concerned me was the amount of garbage on and near the patio. Plastic and paper garbage, which is no doubt going into the river. Again, overall my experience was good and I will return, I just think the owners should look into at least compostable materials and communicate with the staff that tons of garbage on and near the patio is not a good look for the restaurant, especially being so close to a major waterway we all love and enjoy. I hope this review reaches the individual that has the power to fix this. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
While home visiting my parents, I decided to have my final lobster meal at Peppers Landing, which I’ve never been to before. I was shocked when I received the check, having to pay $62.00 for their “lazy lobster”. I was originally torn between the lobster roll or the lazy lobster, but the server said the latter would be more meat. It came with an ear of corn that looked like it had been pre-cooked earlier in the day, a very small portion of bland cole slaw, and a store bought roll. I understand you are paying “Market Pricing”, and that there’s more labor involved for having the cook / chef remove the meat from the shell. (I am able to complete the same work in under 5 minutes). However, who sets these Market Prices? Later that evening I went to High Tide in Brewer. They had a similar dish on their menu called Lazy Lobster. Their price was $36.00. Such a bitter experience in my home State. I can’t imagine they get locals coming in for their lobster. Sad. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
A beautiful day, Fried Clams and a view, what's not to like. Vibe: I chose to sit on the patio, overlooking the Penobscot River. I couldn't asked for a nicer day. The inside is nice, but a little overly done on coastal theme, i.e. it feels forced/new and not natural and authentic. I also felt the inside was a bit too spacious, lacking some warmth. Service: It was an off hour, and they had a limited staff working. Not the end of the world, but there was that awkward wait at the front, wondering what to do - wait - seat myself - go to the bar? Finally, someone came and sat me on the patio. Service was good - friendly - and for the most part attentive. I did notice as they got a little busier, the server was stretched a little. And there was a bit of a gap getting and paying the check. Food: The Fried Clams were delicious and reminded me of growing up in New England. Hot, lightly battered and crispy. The fries, although not as good as the clams, were hot and tasty. The coleslaw was also very good. All in all - very satisfying. I would definitely go back to Pepper's Landing, that is unless someone convinced me there was a better place to try. Nice place with an awesome view that you might ever get in Orono and Old town. The service was very good and didn’t had to wait much. There were no delay in the service of food as well. The food was tasty but the seafood was mostly fried which I would like to see changed about the place. The braised pork is one of mine and friends favorite but was less in quantity however there were enough sides with that so I give it to them. There were a great selection of drinks especially beers which is also awesome. I recommend this place as one of the best for dinners in Orono and Old town. First time here and I’m hoping it won’t be my last. The pumpkin spice White Russian was perfect. The Old Town lobster roll was filling and tasty. I also had their blueberry purée oysters. Those were also very good! And the view in this place is amazing! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100

First of all, Alexis, the bartender was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The scallops were delicious! The maple smokey sauce was not overpowering and left a nice aftertaste. My only minus was the basmati rice side. Delicious, but perhaps unnecessary? I added some butter and black pepper. The blueberry pie was on point. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
Beautiful Place! The Seafood 🦞 is so fresh! The Haddock was perfectly cooked! The Service was quick and Very nice! It’s a Little pricey but worth every bite and every drink of a cocktail lol Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100
