Rooms were really basic. Had fridge, but loud, and it was impossible to sleep by. We had a significant amount of worms, even centipede in the room. The location is great for the trip to Chocz Peak. The food was ok. Staff was friendly.

Great place to sit down for a quick meal or a drink. This is the original pub where Janosik was caught. It has traditional decoration depicting this historical occurence. It is cozy place with great pizza and friendly staff. Seating is available insite and outside. You can even spend the night here too.

Staff were really friendly, the bedroom was clean and very warm when we arrived. The restaurant is on the ground floor, they serve excellent pizzas and they had a 2+1 offer at the time. It's very close to the hiking trail and there's a small grocery store nearby. And they also had a very friendly cat! They could benefit from new shower heads and the beds were a bit squeaky too, but I think these are minor details and the whole place is very nice. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

We waited 1h and 45 minutes and we asked twice where is our food and nothing happened. Nobody apologized, staff didn't care and simply ignored us. After that, somebody asked if we want a recipt... for the food that was never served. We ordered 2 beers and they could have said they're sorry and we don't need to pay but they just casually charged us and didn't say a word.

Nice place for a night. Cozy rooms, good location, close to the bus stop and hiking trails. Strange shower in the bathroom, which stays wet after taking a shower because water gets directly to the floor. When you get down you have restaurant. Food is tasty but quite expensive.

Great place. Homey atmosphere. The clear garlic soup was delicious. I had ordered a dish from the specialty menu and a it was so so. I wish I had ordered from the Slovak specialties. Sounds like the goat cheese pasta is a good dish to have here. The pizza looked appetizing as well. I heard great reviews from others in reference to pizza. Next time I will definitely order pizza and pasta. Don’t forget to have a shot of pear brandy! Great way to finish a meal!

Authentic slovak food with good flavor. Served in presentable manner. They have a lot of dishes with goat cheese from the are therefore I would definitely recommend to try that than pizza thst has also made it to the menu somehow. Service was fine and drinks were served fast. We went there after the hike to Choč and was really nice to be able to relax there. Only thing that was bothering a bit was the overlook of the menu: should be shorter, less confusing and in better quality material.

Three families, we stayed three nights at this newly renovated pension, enjoying hospitality of the manager and staff who were very helpful. We spent hours sitting on the open terrace eating the local food cooked home style and enjoying spectacular views. Accommodations are simple, nice and practical, priced very reasonably. Directly from the pension you can start a challenging 5 hour hike up the beautiful Choc mountain, or go on scenic walks. Beautiful nature, hot springs and historical landmarks are within 30 min drive.
