Years ago, Penns use to be the best. But the last 10years, their catfish and service has gone down to ground zero. It use to be pieces of fish that you bit into fish. Now, it’s these small thin fried hard pieces that taste like nothing. Guess they changed vendors. And the staff is not friendly. Additionally, they have raised their prices and it’s not worth it. I use to go there maybe 2 or 3 times a week. Now, I may go once every 6 mos to a year. The place was clean. The food was decent. Pricey for the quality and serving amount. It was our first time to eat at Penn's. We will not being eating there again. The staff was so unproffesional , talking amongst themselves loudly , not really concerned with the customers. The lady who took our order, acted as if she really didn't want to help and we felt like she really didn't want our business. Like we were a bother to her. I read reviews before we went , hoping we'd have a good experience as others did. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Tasty food and open pretty late for the area. The employees were polite and served me quickly which was really nice. Overall no complaints from me and will eat there again when my fiancee is wanting fried fish or fried tomatoes. I had the grilled catfish and it was good as well. Ordered a shrimp poboy and ONLY got bread with lettuce and tomatoes, NO SHRIMP. I will not be coming back or eating here ever again! 😡😡😡😡

You can't beat the value or quality of food from this little. Little known item on the menu fried green tomatoes and they were awesome.

$13 "large" fish platter had 5 TINY pieces of fish. This was not a good value, to put it nicely. Glad I didn't order the regular size. When I asked the staff member, she shrugged and smiled, as if to say that's just the normal deal. On the positive side, the food tasted good.
