Got the all you can eat Pea soup that comes with a milkshake and bread for $16.99. Only had two soups and a shake and I was stuffed! Super yummy. When we were in Solvang about a week ago, we were disappointed that Pea Soup Andersen's was closed. Apparently, they plan on renovating it, yet no one really knows. On the way home, we saw the sign for the one on Santa Nelle. We called first just to be sure. My boyfriend had a salad, soup, and a ham & turkey sandwich, which he said was good. I had the soup and a salad as I wasn't overly hungry. The soup was dee-lish-ous! The salad was pretty standard. However, the fresh rolls were gone in a flash! We'll be back in September or maybe even sooner! Awesome place to eat or even to just visit, they have a fairly big gift shop given that it's a restaurant. There are a lot of interesting and nice things to see or buy. The servings sizes are HUGE and very delicious, and of course, you have to get the split peas soup. We've passed by this restaurant about half a dozen times throughout our roaptrips, and finally, we were able to stop by for dinner. It's a must 100% recommend it, they even have there own condiments for sale (had to get the steak seasoning) don't forget to get a split pea soup to go, trust me you'll thank yourself in the morning. And make it a large lol, no lie. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had lunch here and at the other location multiple times whenever we traveled to Sequoias or South CA. The restaurant and the store are great and always maintain consistency in quality and quantity. The food, especially splitpea soup and sandwiches (especially vegetarian eggplant one) have always been yummy and abundant. The service is very friendly during breakfast or lunch time though restaurants would be busy. Their chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream is so heavenly! I wish they include vegetarian sandwich in soup and sandwich combo. That’s my only issue as am the only vegetarian in the group and I have to make two orders. I box the leftovers for my dinner though. Love their bakery items and pastries to go. The pea soup was delicious. I wish they had a version with ham just like Grandma used to make. The best garlic croutons I've ever tasted love them so much. It's definitely worth the trip. The pastries we got on the way out were so delicious. This is a great stop for families. We have stopped here since the 1980's. The interior looks the same today. They have a fun gift shop for everyone in the family. Of course, the split pea soup is the signature dish! It's a great stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Classic location on Interstate 5! Our family used to be patrons of the cheese spread and toasted bread chips that were free many years ago, now with the pandemic you have to buy the jar but can still enjoy it at home. Good pea soup and comfort swedish food is what to expect at this classic stop.
