You can come to this bar after visiting Central Park. All the guests love gorgeous Italian cuisine at Pausa. Do not leave without enjoying nicely cooked pizza Margherita, gnocchi and terrine. Make a change from your customary meal and try good gelato, cannolis and chocolate marshmallows at this place. It might be good to enjoy delicious house wine, Spritz or Pisco sour. Here you can drink great espresso, hot chocolate or tea. Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The positive aspect of this spot is that the staff is nice. If you want to experience fine service, you should visit this bar. The beautiful decor and charming atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. Pausa scooped the Bib Gourmand award for tasty meals at reasonable prices.

Found this place to eat by our hotel at the airport in San Francisco last night. Highly recommend everyone to go there if you want a great spot for dinner. Our server Katrina was amazing. She was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food was a combination of all different types of food around Italy. She told us the menu is always changing depending on seasonal ingredients. The wine is all Italian as well and the chef is from northern Italy we were told. The atmosphere was amazing. Great vibe in there and it was packed on a Wednesday night. We loved everything we tried especially the bone marrow, beet salad, tagliatelle, pizza and especially the sheep ricotta doughnuts. I would definitely go back. The chef board was a great way to start the dinner. If you're looking for an app, wine and chit-chat before dinner, it's perfect. We enjoyed the pizza's thin chewy crust and interesting toppings. This is definitely a modern Italian fusion cuisine, not traditional. The pasta was very savory although portion was on the smaller side. I didn't love the risotto but I'm super picky with risottos in general. Staff was awesome. Our server was on point with her knowledge of the menu as well as the drinks offerings. She was ready with recommendations and were able to steer us to order enough for the table without over doing it. Made a reservation for a company happy hour for a Tuesday and needless to say, everything was exceptional! Their truffle honey - sooooo good! Catrina took care of us so well explaining the menu. We only tried chef's choice of charcuterie. The drinks were also delicious and such a neat space. Will have to be back for food later! Went with a group of 6 so was able to sample a lot. Overall the entire experience was very good. All the meats were cooked absolutely phenomenally, especially the pork belly and wagyu. The size of the starters was a disappointment. Other than the focaccia bread, the burrata and pork belly starters are not enough for more than two people. The cocktails were good but nothing all that special. The environment was beautiful but it’s definitely on the louder side so not great for intimate dinners.
