Wow so many choices of pizza. I ordered small pizza and did Took the Alfredo on one side of Philly steak on the other. It was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the all meat. We had leftovers so I brought it home. I finally got to eat some. It is probably the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. We will definitely be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited today with friends for the 2024 burger battles! We had an amazing server - Abby - who was just delightful - and was just perfect. It was a busy night, but she was always there making sure we were well cared for!! Christmas drinks were still being served and we got 2 amazing drinks - Jack Frost and Dude where’s my sleigh! Ah man - these were fantastic! We had the Conquistador and let me tell you - this was like 2 burgers in one. The dipping sauce made it more of a chili burger and without, a mirage of flavors showcased as you chewed every morsel! Definitely high on our favorites list this year! Well done! We had an amazing server. Very attentive and offered great suggestions when asked. Drinks were kept full and he was so happy and helpful. Food was amazing. Not just pizza, but complex flavors and layers of ingredients. Crust is important in a pizza...and Papa Woodys knows what they are doing...even the thin crust holds up to the piles of toppings and sauces. First time trying this place and the nostalgia of the atmosphere was on point! The pizza was absolutely awesome! Probably the best pizza we've ever had! The cheese curds were either a bit overcooked or the grease needed to be changed out but otherwise superb food! The waitress was awesome being our server. 1 thing that did bother us, that a huge family was seated right next to us and their kids screamed the majority of the time we were next to them. It was super loud and echoed horribly in there. Maybe look into have seating in a back corner or more secluded area with a large family with kids. Otherwise everything was awesome! First timer here and Holy buckets did everything come out looking fresh and so good! So much food for your money. I got the uptowner and chicken caccitore pizza and my friend got the half rack of ribs. Pizza was alright. My issue with it was I ordered their Big Woody, their version of a Supreme Pizza. The crust was indistinguishable from any frozen pizza. Wasn't anything homemade I didn't think. All the veggies on top were cold which was weird. Olives, tomatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms appeared to placed on the pizza after the oven. Cheese was melted and meat was cooked. The pizzas came in big to-go boxes which I thought was smart until I had half a pizza left then wasnt sure if I could ask for a smaller box. The place had a varied crowd of different ages and customers. Service was quick and superb. My companions Pizza, a chicken caccitore looked better. Perhaps their menu's specialty pizzas are their forte. I wasn't sure if I could have ordered a custom built Pizza that I judge most Pizza places with, a sausage, Canadian Bacon, and Mushroom. There was nothing that said I could on the menu. Oh and the price for two 16 inch pizzas wasn't bank busting. We were traveling through Sioux Falls with our Golden Retriever and needed a dog friendly place to stop and eat. Woody's Staff was more than welcoming to have our Charlie dine inside or on the patio. It was a nice day so we chose the patio. They even had treats for him when we checked in and complimentary water dish for him served when our drinks arrived. They are the BEST. Oh, and the wood fired pizza was excellent. We will definitely be stopping here on our next trip through Sioux Falls. Thanks Lisa, Steve and staff! First time here and it is located in a nice area, near the Falls Park. Easy to walk to...good date night spot. Nice kids menu. My daughter ordered a hotdog. Definitely plenty of food and yummy steak fries, but fries were overly salted. My spouse and I ordered 2 specialty pizzas-the Mediterranean and the Buffapeno. Pizza was $12 for 4 pieces and $18 for 8. We had Flatbread with the Mediterranean and thick with the Buffapeno. The flavors were excellent! Yum! But the thick was a bit undercooked. Nice service. First time stopping in....will definitely be going back!! Great pizza, appetizers was great, cheese curds, & mushrooms, only thing was, not very many mushrooms for the price. Great atmosphere!! For an easy fun casual pizza place, this is a good restaurant! The interior has awesome torched wood throughout, and it smells of wood fire as soon as you walk in. LOTS of options for pies, as well as an award winning burger from the Downtown Sioux Falls burger battle. Friendly fast service, and good prices! I had the chicken pesto pizza on thin crust, and the meat lovers on hand tossed. The thin crust was thin and crispy, just as advertised, and the hand tossed crust was thick and doughy, just as advertise. Well done Papa Woodys!
