I took a party of 12 of mixed ages from 9 months to 50+ to the Outback Ellicott City location late evening and the team was more than accommodating. Our waiter Josh was top tier. He was professional and attentive, and even made sure to include my children in the experience. The food was great as well. Highly recommended!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This location is frustrating. It seems that every time I order cheese fries to go, there is never any bacon topping. Cheese fries consist of 3 ingredients and forgetting one is pretty ridiculous. My server was overly friendly and acted like he cared until I had an issue and then he just disappeared. I had ordered a well done steak and it came out rear. When I raised the issue they took the same steak which I had cut in middle to show them back and literally burned it to charcoal with 2 times the seasoning making it inedible. When the manger stopped by to ask how I like my food I showed her that they burnt the steak and all she said was “Oh I’m Sorry” but didn’t offer to fix anything. I was already having a bad day and this didn’t help. In hindsight I should just sent the steak back but I was just too out of it to react. Instead I paid for the burnt food and gave a 20% tip - go figure right? :) Is it just me but wasn’t there a time if there was something wrong with your food they would give you a fresh plate. I used to like this location but my experience has left me weary to return. I can understand that there can be bad days or issues but the way the waiter and manager handled the situation was just disappointing. So I just don’t even want to bother. Outback should be ashamed for calling themselves a steakhouse. I know they’re not a high end steak house, so by no means do I expect top quality steak, but at least give me something edible. We ordered a 13 oz ribeye and an 18 oz bone in ribeye and it was mostly fat and muscle. I took photos and placed all the nasty picked through pieces on the paper bag they put their bread in, so you can see the pieces. Their Tasmanian chili is made of the same nasty fatty chewy steak meat (probably old steak they couldn’t sell). The only bright spot was the baked potato. Never again!!! Meal type Dinner Food: 1

My partner and I just ate dinner here and everything was outstanding. The food was great as usual but our server Carolyn C went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. She was super bubbly and fun and very attentive and quick, and always made sure we what exactly what we needed. If you come here just hope that Carolyn is your server because she is truly a gem and amazing at what she does. What can I say? Service and atmosphere were just fine. The food, on the other hand, was absolutely horrible! I had the French onion sirloin with mashed potatoes and green beans. As anyone can see, the green beans are withered, and they were extremely soft. Zero crunch to them at all. Overcooked. The mashed potatoes were mashed but extremely dry. I poured the French onion dip on the side on the potatoes, and that didn't do much to remedy it. The steak, it was cooked how I requested. But there was nothing grilled about this. It was dry and just not a good cut of meat at all. The crispy blooming onions on top were very good. But that was about it. I'm not sure what is going on up in the kitchen here. But there are not many options at this hour of night for a late dinner after work. This place did not satisfy anything involving the food at all. And apparently, I wasn't the only one who noticed. This is the second time I tried Outback and it's just not my place to come have a meal. Your staff bartending are doing just fine. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
