I love the Outback. I've eaten at in about 4 different countries. First time to try it back stateside in ages. Still great. The ribeye was a good size and Cooked to perfect medium rare. Fried mushrooms, salad and potato soup were all good!!! Oh and the bread!! Had totally forgotten about that. Service was great, waitress was very attentative. Outback Steakhouse in Layton was great! The food was yummy and our server Celeste M was excellent she always filled my drink and checked on us! If the manager sees the review give her an extra tip! The food and service was Amazing! Steve our waiter did a Fantastic job and was very friendly and you could tell he loved his job. My friend and I ordered filet mignon and asked for medium well. We were brought out well done and when we showed our waitress she said she didn’t know which steak was which so we asked for a manager. He was very kind and brought us new steaks but both were still very overdone. They were hardly warm and very dry. Our waitress didn’t offer refills on drinks until after the manager was there. My family and I decided last minute to grab dinner at Outback on 12/20/23. Upon pulling into the parking lot we were nervous. It was PACKED! We went in and surprisingly the hostess brought us to a booth right away. Our server Jesse came right over with bread and took our drink orders. There were a lot of big groups around the restaurant keeping the servers very busy. There were only 3 servers for the entire restaurant! Jesse never once forgot about us or any of his other tables. He kept a welcoming and happy attitude the entire time. He was constantly moving without missing a beat. Thank you Jesse for an enjoyable last minute decision to eat dinner out instead of at home.
