Went to have a nice dinner with my wife and son. Had a little wait but no big deal. We were sat our table at 6.37pm and offered the standard drink choices by our server (Casey), who was absolutely amazing. He was very responsive and courteous. We ordered our meals and that's where it all fell apart. Fist, the silverware was absolutely filthy. Second, our food was served at 7:26pm, 50 minutes for one appetizer and the tour of Italy. One and a half meatballs into eating my appetizer I find a fingernail in my mouth. I notified management immediately and he said he would let his distribution company know as that's where the meatballs come from. He said he would take care of the meal and apologized. I went to the restroom and exited the restaurant. My wife ended up paying over 46 dollars for our meal that we were too disgusted to finish. This was the worst restaurant experience that we have ever had and as a huge slap in the face, we had to pay for it. As a local business owner myself, I would have Handel the situation in a whole different manner. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

It wasn't that busy but they said us in a table and a corner where we were crowded by each table on each side of us. Our waiter was pleasant but we had to wait often for cheese, breadsticks, and refills on our soup. I blame the kitchen for most of that not him. Could have been better if we got our bread sticks and salad at the beginning of our sit down. Took a while to get those. I did enjoy my birthday dinner of shrimp scampi and a piece of salmon. The chocolate cake there is so delicious. Maybe it was just too busy being a weekend. I would definitely go again. Chocolate cake is worth coming back for and that's for sure! Food was great. Our server Alexis was great we came in around dinner time and she was very attentive. My husbands not very great with his people skills so he didn’t exactly know how to properly hand someone a tip/let them know the bill was paid. We’re not sure if he offended her any. But she was an excellent server! Never any issues at this Olive Garden we always drive out here from Ocklawaha if we want Olive Garden.
