Where to begin. This very recent experience was top notch in every category that counts. Food was promptly brought to the table with generous portions of professionaly cooked breakfast food that is easily the best that we have had in years. Over easy eggs were perfect as was the generous amount of bacon and hashbrowns. Homemade toast was tasty as well. Prices were very fair. Only one piece of toast but I cannot remove a star with this local eatery.... Thanks and see you soon. For a genuine diner experience you can't go wrong. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. The building is showing its age and could use some maintenance. But it's a bit of nostalgia for those of us that grew up in the 80's and 90's. I recommend the breakfast burrito with sausage. Big enough for 2 to share. I love this place! I always order the Chicken Fried Steak and they never disappoint!! Come to think of it, this may be the BEST Chicken Fried Steak in this neck of the woods. Our sever this visit was absolutely lovely with a great attitude, wish I caught her name. I absolutely recommend again and again! The service was great but the food was not. My husband ordered a burger and I got the French dip. Both were actively not good and we didn’t eat very much of it. The fries also tasted like they were in old oil. We got a pancake and sausage for my son which was fine and worked well. The restaurant is definitely old and a bit dirty. Again, service was great.
