We used Jessica for our wedding cake baker on December 3rd and were very happy with our experience. From the moment that I first got in touch with her, Jessica was very nice, professional and so easy to work with! She asked me a lot of good questions to figure out what we wanted the style of our cake to be and also had some great ideas as well. The tasting went great as well, she gave us cupcakes to take home and try. She even gave us a few extra cupcakes as well which was very nice of her. We had originally hired her when our wedding was going to be in Maine. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to move our wedding to New Hampshire and she very nicely delivered our cake to our venue. I cannot thank her enough for doing that, it meant so much to us! The cake was super yummy as well! We would recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a cake for their wedding or other event, she's just so talented! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Jessica is so incredibly talented! We found her because we were getting married at her sisters venue in Sebago Maine. We did a dessert table and everything she bakes was incredible! Worked with Jessica for my wedding in June 2022! Jessica was overall great to work with! There were a few times where emails took some time to get back on but overall we had no issues and everything came out great. I thought the pricing was fair and she really went above and beyond for our day! We Hadn't really discussed presentation of the desserts but it was absolutely stunning. Would recommend!

Jessica's desserts are to die for. We didn't want a traditional cake for our wedding and she was able to come up with a customized dessert table and donut wall for us instead. The apple cider donuts were so thick and amazing, our guests were so happy with everything. The presentation of the desserts was also gorgeous and right on point with the aesthetic of our venue decor for the wedding. Thank you so much Jess!

Jessica baked two cakes for my daughter’s first birthday party and our experience was fantastic! She made a smash cake from an inspo photo we shared with her of a knit hat and the finished cake was adorable! The coordinating cake for the rest of the party was designed to match perfectly. The actual cake was phenomenal- moist, flavorful, and the perfect amount of sweetness. Most guests came back for a second piece! Between the two cakes, we tried 3 flavors and I honestly don’t know which was the best. It was all SO good. Jessica delivered them right to our door, which made it easy on us the day of the party. I cannot say enough good things. My son’s birthday is coming up and we’ll be ordering another cake for sure!

Best dessert table we've seen! Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott provided the desserts for a wedding we photographed this past weekend at the Inn on Peaks Island. Thankfully there was a sign to not indulge in the desserts until after dinner or I don't think we would have been able to photograph it! The desserts FLEW off the table with guests going back for seconds (and thirds - but you didn't hear that from me!). Gorgeous presentation too and a huge variety of sweets! Jessica did an amazing job on our recent wedding! Everyone loved the cupcakes and our cutting cake was beautiful. She was able to meet all of our asks and customized it to what we wanted. Very easy to communicate with, and was even able to make a few of our cupcakes gluten free and/or vegan. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Nothing Bakes like a Parrot! She was so easy to get ahold of and made the planning process easy! My wedding guests raved about the desserts! Our cutting cake came out exactly how I wanted and not only was it picture perfect but it was delicious. We had left over cake pops and mini pies and I can’t stop eating them! Honestly, some of the best cake pops and pies I’ve ever had. If your looking for a bakery to do your wedding sweets, look no further!

What can I say... Jenny made the wedding cake experience the most fun part of wedding planning! My husband and I spent the afternoon enjoying delicious cupcakes and then went home with dozens of samples of the various other deserts we wanted to add to our wedding! On the wedding weekend, Jenny was spectacular! Her display was gorgeous, the desserts were a hit! The only deserts that were leftover were eaten before the end of brunch the next day! You cannot go wrong with Nothing Bakes Like a Parrot!

Jessica baked us a fantastic tasting, beautifully decorated three-tiered cake for our wedding on Peaks Island and it was delivered without incident (this whole delivery to an island thing was difficult for many of our vendors to figure out!) Jessica was really nice during our tasting ~6 months before the wedding and provided samples of roughly 10 different cake and icing combinations. The pricing for the cake was reasonable as well. Most importantly, the cake tasted fabulous! Every guest that I spoke to also mentioned how much they enjoyed the cake! I've been to some weddings where the cake was just a side thought, but this cake was a hit! My wife called Jessica three weeks before the wedding and asked if she could create a cake of our dog Lincoln. He wasn't going to be in the wedding but we wanted him to be there in spirit so she got me a Groom's cake and it turned out awesome! She sent her a couple pictures and Jessica went to work. Everyone thought it was awesome! We ate this cake for our 4th of July party and it tasted great a month later. We would recommend Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott to anyone getting married, having a birthday celebration, graduation or any other event. Thanks Jessica!
