Still one of the best pastrami places I have ever visited. Came back to visit UCSB after graduation and it’s been 6 years. This is still the best pastrami you can get anywhere (I live on the east coast, and nothing comes close). Philippe was super friendly and kept the place up to its original standards. Can’t wait to come back here! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing Deli with great meat and pastrami sandwiches. Food: One word - Amazing Service: Friendly no fuzz diner service (no table service) Ambiance: Deli flair with a few sit in tables. Price: Not cheap but the food is definitely worth it. Conclusion: Absolutely worth a visit, you won't regret it. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Had the pastrami reuben sandwich. Very good reuben sandwich, definitely recommend. Three tables inside that can seat six per table. Three counter seats and one table for 3 outside. Sandwich a bit pricey at $15.63, total with tax $17. Didn't try any sides, soda fountain available. Very close to main walking area of Santa Barbara with many shops. I went just before 11:00 AM on a Friday, no wait. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Pastrami Reuben

My boyfriend and I ordered 2 sandwiches to go. Got the nortons grilled chicken, didn’t think it was that good, chicken inside tasted bland and overall not a very good sandwich, way too much lettuce. after eating one half, found a black hair on the other half of the sandwich. See above my middle finger, I am a girl with long blondish hair… I would’ve gave a few more stars for being ok but there shouldn’t be hair in the food. We paid over $30 in total Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 1

I ordered one half pastrami Reuben and one half corned beef Reuben. Never been before, maybe this is how they do it- but I was given two sandwiches. Or what I would call four half sandwiches. Flavor was good. Execution flawless- would just be better if they made their own meats. Definitely worth a try!

Ordered one sandwich with a side of fries at the counter for two of us. They have four tables and a counter. Food was delivered divided into two baskets. That was appreciated. One order was enough for two. There are helpful signs in this small place giving directions on how to be a good patron. Public parking is across the street. One outdoor table. Stopped downtown after having to pick up parts, and came across a place that looked familiar. Not only did I remember that my friends from SB say to go to Norton's, but I remember seeing them on DDD. Don't worry, their sign will remind you. Got the signature pastrami w/ onion rings and a drink. With a 15% tip, it came out to ~$26. Sandwich was fire. Crispy bread. Great pastrami, the grilled onions. Woo! The onion rings were crispy and fresh. Definitely worth a try. I would probably order just a sandwich next time to make the value more worth it. $15 isn't bad for a sandwich, but $26 is a little high for me. I still do have to try the fries. But this place is definitely a bookmark and a re-visit if in the area. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Pastrami Classic

First time at Nortons and it definitely won't be my last. We did first come over for the pastrami sandwich, but being a big steak sandwich fan, I ordered the East Coast Philly and it was delicious! Will definitely try the pastrami next time I go past Santa Barbara. Although it's a nice place, 4 Stars due to limited seating pandemic or not.
Followed the triple D - Guy Fiery recommendation and tried the PBLT... it was freshly made.. highly recommended and a star of the menu.. hence we ordered. We loved it.. along with their huge and crispy onion rings which were freshly made. Portion size was good enough for two. Loved the service that was offered and the ambience was nice. Though the place was small but the place is comfortable and stands out amongst many other Deli's within the vicinity.
