Cool place but unfortunately a few issues. Food took 45 minutes to come. It was literally just an order of a Poboy and 2 small sides. When it finally came, everything was cold. Plant Burger poboy was delicious but cold. Fried were cold and fried okra was mushy, soft and cold. Not at all crispy. Disappointed after such a long wait. Surprisingly excellent food right on Bourbon Street. As good sober as I imagine it is at 3 AM. The place is fun with unexpected extra seating towards the back. Somebody here cares about food. The surf and turf po'boy with debri beef and crispy fried shrimp was outstanding. My gal absolutely loved the fried okra. Will probably continue trying other places when we return, but satisfied with our visit. Friendly service but food is not special for the price. Had fried oyster po-boy, chicken & sausage gumbo, and soft shell crab plate. Fries were good & fried oysters were tasty. Gumbo is on the salty side & overall not too special. Lots of kitschy Mardi Gras float items. Interesting place but probably good to try once only. Went to several Poboy spots during our stay, but this one was by far the best when it came to flavor! The ones with gumbo or gravy were hearty and full of spices. I personally got one with alligator and it was good! A bit dry and could have a little more spices in it, but to be fair I did ask for mild.
